  3. Next time they call. Ask if there is anyone their that can speak English.
  4. Funny you said that Jed. I use to only watch the shows for the pitch lines on new equipment.
  5. Been storing boats out side for 30 plus years with out a problem. The main thing is to have proper ventilation. What I do is,I build a rib system over the boat and a minimum of 2 feet past the engine. the extra length is for air. The back of my tarps are open.To stop any humidity from forming in the boat. I had a balsa core boat store for 10 years this way with out any dry rote. Shrink wrap is one of the worse ways you can store a boat. It locks the humidity inside.Do to the air inside can't change to the condition outside. When you build your garage. Insulate it very well.So once it gets cold out it stays cold in the garage.
  6. Myself would replace it.It crack once do to stress. Welding it would make it weaker.
  7. Been Using a ABU 700 big game for a few years now.Seems to be a good stand up reel. Can't remember what I paid for it,but it was less then 100 on E-bay.
  8. Once again.Stop trickle charging your battery. It is for a maintenance charge to keep the battery top off after It's fully charged. At 10 or 15 amp charge the plate will take much longer to build up calcium on the plates.
  9. I have a custom cover on the boat and use tracks. I have no problem with my trailer cover. There is 3 mount so far and going to add another two.
  10. Oakley's polarized for me.Over the many years I've been on the water. I have use a few Higher end lens, but keep going back to Oakley's. I find that the lens are very clear with no distorting.
  11. I was running 30lb copolymer for a few tears. can't find in heavy weights any more. It would take about 3 years before the fleas would stick and the only Mono I found That would pop a dipsy at 200ft plus.I use big game now It's not great for really bad years of the flea. But it holds up great. I have use flea flicker. But I'm have problems with it's memory.Every punch I have bought has let the swivel to kick over and jam. Causing the line to twist. Having the same problem on the down rigger rods also.
  12. If it's a mandatory C&R Lake and the MNR is turning a blind eye for revenue. Find a cop that likes fishing in the area. Tell him the story. Good chance he drive by once in a while, To see if there any wrong doings. Then the poop will hit the fan.
  13. It's a shallow lake,Deepest spot is 27 feet.A mind wind can make it very rough. Also a part of the Trent Severn waterway.Lots of big boats going up/down the lake.
  14. If there made from corn starch. Wouldn't that make them Organic, Since corn starch is made from corm?
  15. Happy birthday Roy.
  16. $70. I don't mind try to help out the American market, but that's insane. I bought 2 12 pounders with plastic coat at BPS for $45 each last spring. Another thing I like about BPS is alot of there sale prices are the same as regular prices a LeB's.
  17. My favorite, Is cops that don't use their indicators
  18. JP. Glad your good. Great to hear you got back on the hoarse. Just don't become over cautious on that steering wheel now. After one of my big hits.(seat torn from the floor.)I was being to tight with the wheel. I started over steering going straight and letting the boat slide in corners. It took a bit too relax behind the wheel again. But it happened. You hold the steering wheel in a boat like you hold a beautiful woman. Firmly. But not over controlling.
  19. First, It's a engine in your car not a motor!!!!

  23. Yes be careful out there boys and girls it's hot. I been working on heavy equipment for 28 years 96% of the time outside. This is the first time the heat has hit me this bad. It didn't help that I was steaming a unit on Tuesday.Raised the humidex up another 15 degrees. Brian, Thanks for your concern.
