  1. I myself prefer to use manual breakers. I use my riggers about a dozen times a year. The plugs lay on the floor in a storage compartment when not in use,I just flip the breaker to cut the power so the plugs are dead. Then ,If the boat gets soaked I have no worries of a short from the water.
  2. Sinker, I can see it sticking to ameron like a layer of paint. what I have witnessed it doesn't bond to clear coat that well. Or it pulls up the clear coat with it and just paint is left behind.
  3. IF YOU NEVER OVER LOADED YOUR PICK-UP TRUCK.
  4. I guess for the weekend warrior it's fine. But in the work world it's crap. I myself have torn it up putting a engine in the bosses new truck. Are fork lift(like most)will not reach to the axle.So we have to place the load at the rear and push the load in.This is when it gets torn up. A friend at work is a part time scrapper.Always has scrape steel in the back. With in the year he put back in the liner for their was so much damage done. I can go on.But NO!!
  5. Happy belated birthday hon.
  6. Can't stand the crap.Makes it to hard to move heavy objects to the front of the box. Can't push a skid over the axle. It will tear up like paper. If the liner is installed right. You will not have thees so called problems.
  7. Not offended. Don't want to loss my MAN CARD. one was a lake in northern Haliburton and the other cooch.
  8. If your afraid to swim in a lake, well, your revoked How doe's not wanting to swim in a polluted, gem infested lakes make you less of a man. 5 dead from catching meningitis from lake water. One was a friend. friend in hospital.Nerves system shuts down after a simple swim, Most cases of ring worm and tape come from a swim. Men that have bought pick-ups.That have no trailer hitch and a hard tonneau cover. Can't let the groceries get wet
  9. No.You have a power boat.Even if you only have a trolling motor,It's still a power boat. It Engine drives and motor is driven. If you drive a convertible.
  10. If you call a SUV a truck. If you call a ENGINE a Motor!!!
  11. I know a few people that are second time buyers. All owned 80's somethings. They all sad,It's Not the same truck,But it gets better fuel mileage. One guy had the 4runner for 12 years and 740k. My diesel gets better fuel economy city and highway and towing my lund. and room in the rear seat to fit 3 kid seats.
  12. The breed of the dog is Akita.
  13. Don't you guy's worry.I'll have it all cleaned up when I'm done. In around 30 to 40 years. Nice Fish.
  14. The problem adding a leaf is the truck is sagging with trailer weight. If you add a leaf it will lift the front of the truck. losing up the steering. Had the helper on my 87 for 670k never had no problem.Towed more in that one truck then all others combined. Dad had a couple of sets on his truck from factory. A friend put helper on his front leafs of his ford to help stop the wheel hop. Air bladder is the way to go. If you are going to use them most of the time.To justify the cost. If you have twin exust pipe you have to be careful. To get the pipe around the spare, the pipe will sit to close to the air bladder. Rotting it faster from the heat.Found that out on my 76. Spring over shocks have nothing to do with weight. There designed to help keep the wheels on the ground under rough conditions.Had them on my 83. But the rule is. If your truck does't sag from the weight of your boat.YOU NEED A BIGGER BOAT!! Forgot one. Had helpers on the 72 courier.Towed a 14ft VooDoo with a 90 Stinger on the back.
  15. Lip Ripper Is Bang on. Just need a helper. That's pretty good for your first post.
  16. Haaaa Haaa, Your old! happy birthday.
  17. So,A good healthy and growing friendship between friends that help each other out when needed. This wouldn't count as good Karma.
  18. Just need 4000 in rally snow tire and you won't get stuck either.
  19. If It's the right tailor for the boat. you'll have no problems.
  20. Tonyb, I have been noticing that US price have only be a couple of bucks difference. Stuff I order state side is on sale.Mostly cloths and electronics. On the most part shop at LB's. Drive past BP to get to work. Stop only to buy line. When Bass Pro is having a sale,LB's is still cheaper.
  21. Change the oil in my truck at 7000km. Use a blend from Hamilton(can't remember the name right now) Same 15-40 we use in the equipment at work.Trucks almost 9 years old.
  22. When I checked the oil in Dec it was a dark tan colour. The oil I sent to the S.O.S lab last year was a darker brown and it checked out O.K. When I'm running higher speed 40-50mph it's only for 15 minutes or so. 90% of the time I let the super charger cool down before I shut the engine down.
  23. If it's a hard handle drive.Give the driver a whack with a hammer while under force. Remember. Right tight.
