  1. PC app is around the $30 I believe... which is a pretty darn good deal considering it has all of US/Canada on it, and the chips retail for about 6 times that and only cover 1/3 of the area...
  2. Poirier said the man can face jail time if he chooses to violate fishing laws again.
  3. I'll be there and doing some filming using some sweet new prototype baits!
  4. If you use it properly... WELL worth the investment.
  5. Maybe those "cultures" need to pick up a regs book and read it. You wanna fish in Canada, then follow the CANADIAN rules. Plain and simple.
  6. I believe to view your map chip on your PC you need the "Nav Planner" software and the navionics card reader. The maps wont work in a standard SD slot on a computer. Also, if you have the PC version as well as the mobile version, you can enable "sync my data". This mirrors all your routes/waypoints, etc on your PC and your phone, so when you add a new waypoint on either, it's automatically view-able on the other.
  7. Try Tacklestock.com, we're Canadian!
  8. That's in the fine print.... LMAO!
  9. No brainer.... QUINTE. Numbers of fish, and BIG ones. PM me, and I'll shoot you some tips on some decent spots/lures
  10. Agreed 10000%. But wait... that would mean the gov't would have to SPEND money.... Or reading a regs book...? I can see it now.... the GRADUATED FISH LICENSE system! Step 1 - Pass a written test on the opening/closing dates of each species in your area ($49) Step 2 - Pass a casting test (Another $49) Step 3 - Pass a setting hook and playing fish test ($49 + gov't fee for using a rod) Step 4 - Pass a landing/unhooking/fish test ($49) Step 5 - Pass a HOW TO HOLD A FISH IN A PICTURE test ($299 cause they charge you for a gov't issued camera) Step 6 - Pass a releasing fish test (on sale $29.99) Step 7 - wait a full year (or 8 mths if you attend classes) until you can get your full license
  11. As someone who was born and raised in Cobourg (21 yrs), I can attest to the importance first hand! Growing up I fished the harbour A LOT, as like stated before, is one of the few options for those of us that dont have a "cottage" to go to, or aren't old enough to drive, etc. I also know first hand how pathetic the "Town of Cobourg" can be. Hopefully this will kick their 's into gear and make them do something that actually benefits the community for once.
  12. Now... if it was CARRIE UNDERWOOD... then it's something to talk about! She can teach me how to skate ANY day of the week!
  13. I'm not a Pens fan.... but you're absolutely right. Pathetic on many accounts.
  14. Torres is a joke of an NHL player.... the ONLY way he gets any attention is to pull stunts like that. I hope he gets what's coming to him... and more! Good ole case of "small man's syndrome". Enjoy watching the rest of the playoffs from the sidelines!!
  15. Radioworld
  16. There's huge bass in there. One of my biggest smallies (5 and change) came from inside the park.
  17. Any info on the West access points (#1-4) would be appreciated as well.
  18. Hey everyone, I'm planning a trip to the interior of Algonquin again this year, and this time I think we are going to use one of the access points on the Northern side of the park (Near North Bay), and I was wondering if anyone has done a trip up there for Bass/Pike? Any recommendations on routes/lakes? Any help is much appreciated!

  23. Wow, that's a tank! My buddy and I got one out of Scugog last year that was 16" and 2.1 lbs. That thing makes our's look like bait! The 18" and 3 lbs is a pretty accurate guess I'd say.
  24. WOW!!!! I love the way he didnt care and jumped in to make sure he didnt loose it! That's a true fisherman!
