You should really tell your engine to quit... it's a nasty habit!

People freak out when you hold a big Walleye/Pike/Musky up without supporting the weight because it damages the gills........engine's weigh a LITTLE more than that, so imagine what "damage" it can do to a transom if not properly secured.... When you're talking thousands of dollars to repair a ripped off transom/engine... better safe than sorry!

IMO, being skunked is not landing your "target" species for the day. Mind you... your target species might change through the day, so maybe it's not landing a fish at all... LOL...

Yuppers, it sure is. He took great care of it and I'm looking forward to having it for plenty of years to come! Maybe even an SHO upgrade in a few years! But haven't told the wife that idea yet......
