  1. I was in Bridgenorth today and it's starting to open at the east side of the causeway
  2. Outstanding LOL
  3. Now working for me too with Chrome.
  4. I've kept in close contact with Kevin & Leslie since the camp shut down and was just talking with Kevin a few weeks back. He was feeling pretty good and we laughed and talked alot about the good times. Leslie called me this afternoon to tell me that Kevin has taken a sharp downward turn the last couple weeks and is now in a hospice (palliative care) in Sudbury and asked me to pass it on to everyone who's known him over the years. Leslie's email is [email protected] and she said Kevin would really enjoy hearing from anyone who'd like to email him. He's having some good days and then not so good so it'd cheer him up to hear from old friends. He's in Maisonvale Hospice in Sudbury Leslie said she'll call me when the time is here and asked me to inform everyone. For those that don't know Kevin, he's Capt. Hooked on this board and him & his wife Leslie own Lakair Lodge on the West Arm of Lake Nippissing, and unfortunately he's been fighting cancer for several years now. A bunch of us from this board had a great time there every June for a lot of years and it became a big part of OFC with many fantastic memories.
  5. If he seems lonely Joe, you can send him up this way, there's always lots of his buds hanging out in my yard LOL
  6. Always cool when the critters stop by to visit Joe. lol
  7. It's not old news if you haven't heard it before.
  8. Great post Simon, not many things in this world better than a good & loyal pooch. Just over a year now since Marvin passed away, but there's not a day goes by that I'm not thinking of all the great times we had together for 18 years.
  9. Can't remember Dave, but 4 trebles attached is the way we bought them and everyone used them like that.
  10. I came across this from another website but if I'm not allowed to link it I'll delete my post. Some interesting thoughts here though. https://www.google.ca/url?sa=t&rct=j&q=&esrc=s&source=web&cd=1&cad=rja&uact=8&sqi=2&ved=0CB0QFjAA&url=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.walleyecentral.com%2Fforums%2Fshowthread.php%3Ft%3D300626&ei=vA8YVd3vJcqqyAT43IGgAQ&usg=AFQjCNH72M85ofkNVuKhhYYmJJ_jMqbjuA
  11. I hafta admit I HAVE backed my boats into the water with the rear tie down straps still attached....twice. And one of the times was at the Old Church ramp on Hay Bay with about 8 people watching me
  12. Nice collection of antique gems there Rob. I can remember many many years ago using the Flatfish when they came with 3 & 4 trebles on it. A real fish grabber but a royal pain in the butt when those 4 trebles tangled with another Flatfish in the box LOL A great old bait that's stood the test of time.
  13. All staged but still good for a laugh https://youtu.be/iK_h-2kot6s
  14. You'll be much happier with the lower gear ratio, specially if your cranking big blades all day.
  15. The day after we moved into this house we accidently locked the door with all the keys inside so I had to go to a friends place and call a locksmith to come out. He was here in 30 minutes and charged me $115 to get us back inside which I didn't find bad at all considering the circumstances.
  16. I've got a 2013 F150 Lariat and when I bought it 2 years ago I got an extra spare key cut and I'm darned sure I only paid something like $45 but I sure could be wrong on that.
  17. Hard to believe the weather you've got way up there Rick with +5 temps & soft water. Lakes are still frozen around here, high today is -2 and in my area there's more snow than bare ground.
  18. Always a good thing when we can learn stuff from our kids. Great story !!
  19. Pro Tackle in Belleville is a good place to deal with depending on what your looking for. https://www.google.ca/url?sa=t&rct=j&q=&esrc=s&source=web&cd=1&cad=rja&uact=8&ved=0CB4QFjAA&url=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.protacklemuskyshop.com%2F&ei=aLUWVcakFc-fyATw2IHQDQ&usg=AFQjCNGOGj_9Rq9Z0hihOtRU7orhQdfTxg
  20. I hear ya.
  21. Waiting patiently, but snug as a bug.
  22. Don't we all...every time
  23. You've made up for the late start BIG time though Rich and this'll be your year for the 50
  24. Only my opinion, but I've always found images too small when you split a 5" screen for both sonar & GPS. I've got a 7" GPS on the dash in front of me and a 5" sonar on the left side consol and then another 5" up on the bow. The one on the left side is close enough to be able to see it with no problem and it still gives me a full 7" screen for GPS. Everybodies gonna have their own opinion though.
  25. I've talked to lots of guys over the years who tell me about all the muskies they've caught on light line and spinning reels, but most of them have never caught anything bigger than 30" yet most of them seem to be experts....on everything.
