Good to hear the dopey charges were thrown out, now hopefully the courts will tell the power tripping cop to stop wasting everyones time with this kind of nonsense.
Get yourself a holster for that screw gun too if their available and you'll be able to free up both hands without having to lay it down on the floor all the time.
I think she's entitled to an opinion Mike, just like you. If you forbid her to say what she believes in I think your making a big mistake. It's a free country and we're all entitled to say what we feel.
There ya go, you asked for our thoughts LOL
When all the trouble was happening in Caledonia a few years ago I very vividly remember seeing on the news an OPP van sitting on a road and one of the natives smashed out the back window. A bunch of cops were sitting inside the van and did absolutely nothing to the guy that did it.
I couldn't believe what a sad & unbelievable thing I was seeing.
Thanks for the link Dave, I recognize the place now but I guess just never payed much attention to it before. Been travelling up and down that road for 60 years and thought I knew every place on it LOL
Twenty years ago my son and I crossed from Sturgeon Falls to Sandy Island at the mouth of the French. Stayed in the lodge for 3 days then crossed back to the north shore again. We checked the weather for a week before the trip and knew the weather would be good.
Long trip in a 14 footer but you could sure see how folks could get into a heap of trouble on that big old lake.
Like anything else, I spose if someone wanted it bad enough they could take it. Took several guys to unload it from the truck and set it up so a few guys could definitely take it. They'd have to disconnect the plumbing too but that's not a big deal either.
They'll steal the roof off your house if they want it bad enough LOL
Our power has gone out 4 or 5 times this winter and it sure is nice to know that within about 10 seconds Generac automatically kicks in and my house is running normally again and with a 1500 litre propane tank I'm good for a long time.
Half the homes on this road have them and we stay nice and warm while the other half waits in the cold and dark for power to be restored.
I've said it before, but it's some of the best $$$$ I've ever spent.
