  1. Maybe check with the city cause if the tree causing the problems is on their side they may take care of the repairs for you.
  2. And isn't that a complete farce !!!!!! A man does ABSOLUTELY NOTHING WRONG and is actually getting ready to fix the stupid bulb like he's sposed to, yet he's still gonna forfeit a days pay. If I was the judge I'd make the dopey cop with no more smarts than a fence post reimburse his lost money plus pay the court costs too. Jeeez, I don't usually get riled up but this kinda crap needs to stop !!!!!
  3. So what's his next move Dave, so he doesn't have to pay that ridiculous ticket plus lose a days pay in court ??
  4. Going to court is gonna cost a days pay too. This whole thing is a crock and should never have happened. Not many things worse than a punk cop on a power trip.
  5. VERY impressive job on those trucks Skipper, REALLY nice !!!!
  6. You could very well be right, I didn't get his name but he treated me like I was the most important customer they had, fixed up my problem in a couple minutes and had me on my way again. He'll do well wherever he works !!
  7. I'd be taking the ticket plus the bill of sale for the new light and heading straight to the cop shop to talk to whoever is in charge. Nobody has any control over when a light will burn out and I can't see any way you should have been charged. That cop needs to be raked over the coals by her boss. Used to be a time when you were given 24 hours to fix stuff like that and then just take the car in so the cop can see it was repaired.
  8. Good to see you back Guy, been wondering where you & Shorty got to.
  9. Not too many Brian but every now & then one wanders thru the yard. I posted this picture a couple weeks back but he's the only buck I've seen this year. It was nice here last evening just at sunset when I looked out the back window and there were 2 does and a youngun only 50' from the house and then they hung around the yard for about 10 minutes. Would been nice to get a picture but I didn't want to spook them. Neighbor down the road told my wife the other day that she watched a wolf take down and kill a deer on Clear Lake right in front of her place.
  10. There ya go.
  11. Can't help you with the ice fishing info Buckster, but I can tell you that there's 3 good fishing poles and a whack of tackle and related odds & ends laying on the bottom from when myself, my dad and my bro rolled a boat over on that lake about 40 years ago. Ah yes, the good ole days
  12. I'm trying to figure out why were always talking about American politics
  13. And I've got a deer in the backyard Brian, but she's only for lookin at
  14. I think your right in the ballpark Bruce, my neighbor has a 16 footer and he pays about $600/year at Burliegh Falls for nothing more than a dock.
  15. Well done Mike, that's a great looking boat and on the cold rainy miserable days you'll be very happy you went with the full windshield and canopy...and your family will thank you too !!
  16. I was in the Mississauga office a few years back and the fella that served me was actually a member of this board but I can't remember his name now. If he's still around it'd be good if he could chime in with some info on what's happening. [quote name='barrystrs' date='24 January 2012 - 09:39 AM' timestamp='1327415967' post='659778' I need a new transducer for an old LCX 15 if anyone has one to sell. barrystrs, I've got a transducer from an X510C I'm not using and it's yours if it'll work on your LXC 15, although it's doubtful.
  17. Don't know the prices but you can try Emerald Ilse Marine at the s/e corner of Upper Buckhorn, or maybe Gannons Narrows Marine at Gannons Narrows.
  18. Sounds like you'll practically have a new boat Steve and I'll be watching for your up-dates & pictures as they come in.
  19. Awesome work as always Chris !!
  20. And there's few fishermen that boat as many huge pickeral as Steve either. Good luck with the re-build Steve, it'll be interesting to see the pictures of the finished boat.
  21. OH no, Kelvin I'm so very sorry to hear this and deepest sympathies from both Diane and myself. Very very sad.
  22. I've got a rod locker under my front deck plus more enclosed storage in the side of the boat so everything can be put safely outta the way of clumsy feet when needed.
  23. Great news Chris, just don't overdo anything and do exactly what the doc tells you to do.
  24. Just saw the video Nick and that's some great stuff you guys do. Goodonya for giving up your spare time to help others.
  25. That WOULD be impressive
