I'd say the worst part of all this is just the fact that they were given permission to raise rates by 40%. That's a big money hit for anyone to have to absorb but there's gonna be plenty of folks who just won't be able to afford that huge increase next winter.

Bay Distributors is well known for the fast turn around on repaired HB units Mike and you may have it back in just a few days, at least that's the way it used to be. I once sent a unit to them and had it back in 3 days.

Wife and I were just talking about this last night while listening to the 3 party leaders talking. I've hated the liberals from day one and have always voted against them, but looking at our choices sure doesn't make things any easier.

All a personal choice, but myself I use 80# Power Pro for casting and 100# for trolling. I make my own leaders using 130# Seaguar fluoro and crimps and use around 18" for casting and roughly 48" for trolling.

The Jailbird has worked very well for me over the years Matt but I remove the rattles from them, infact I remove the rattles from most of my Believers and that seems to make a big difference, specially in clear water. For dark or murky water, or trolling after dark I use baits with the rattles still in place. That Double "D" was originally a different color that didn't do much, but after I painted it Jailbird it became one of my best producers.

These 5 have been my best producers for years and the large black/orange spinnerbait at the top gets most of my muskies in your area. These baits are all in the 8"-10" range. Throw in a mix of different colored large bucktails and your all set.

I live north of Peterboro near Burliegh Falls and about 4:20 this afternoon we heard a loud rumbling sound that lasted a couple seconds. Didn't know what the heck it was but a couple neighbors also heard it and we even got a call from friends 15 miles away. Turns out it was a huge meteor breaking the sound barrier (obviously) and then blowing apart that was evidently seen by alot of folks.

Good to hear everything worked out for you Cliff and it sounds like you found a great guy to do the work. One thing I've noticed alot since moving to the country is the different attitude of the contractors compared to the ones in the city. I had a skylight installed 3 weeks ago and they didn't want any type of down payment either and other than a call from the boss on completion of the job to be sure I was completely satisfied, I've never even received a bill from them yet.
