  1. I've said it here before, but the worst I ever saw was Charlie trolling muskies on LSC and when he hooked into one, he spammed 6 sponsors before he landed the fish.
  2. I had cutters in the boat when my motor burnt up Wayne, only problem was I wasn't in the boat with them.
  3. My last boat had a cover that went completely over the bow including the troll motor. I covered it one day but accidentally hit the constant on button without knowing it. I charged the battery then went home for a week then I uncovered it a week later to find the cover had stopped the prop from turning and I burned out the motor. Price to fix it was gonna be darned near the price of a new motor so I bought a new one. Expensive lesson but ever since then I always unplug the troll motor before charging.
  4. Might be an explanation if it only happens while towing the trailer Wayne. I've got a spray-in bedliner plus a solid tri-fold cover, but I doubt that would have anything to do with keeping snow and water from coming in under the tailgate. Strange for sure. Back in 2001 I bought a new Dodge pick-up and it let water in under the tailgate like yours when I was driving in the rain so I glued a strip of foam rubber along the bottom of the tailgate and it solved the problem.
  5. Not sure what's going on there Wayne, but on my last 2 f150's I've never had anything like all that snow getting in the back of my truck...or even dirt for that matter. Seems really strange.
  6. Thanks jimmer, hope they get it fixed up quick.
  7. I don't use anything myself John, but maybe Van & Truck World would have something you could use, they carry alot of truck accessories.
  8. We'll see if we can change that for you this summer Art.
  9. I had a foot of snow on my roof a week ago and today it's nearly all gone. Still lots on the ground and in the woods though, although about 30% gone
  10. I've seen you in action Art, we have nothing to fear
  11. Peterboro news said something today about parts of Yankee Line west of Chemong being under water but didn't give anymore details as to where abouts exactly.
  12. I was in Bridgenorth for a haircut this morning and meant to go have a look and completely forgot about it. It's a bugger getting old(er)
  13. I've been around this big ole country for a very long time and never once have I EVER had a problem with our police so I'm not too concerned if they pick up some new equipment if they think it's needed.
  14. Good to hear Costa, guess I was just seeing it wrong.
  15. Maybe it's just the way I'm seeing that picture, but from where the chains drop down from the hitch, are you gonna have enough slack for making sharp turns ??
  16. Yup, and on my last boat I got 8 years out of both deep cycles & the cranker. Just keep them charged.
  17. Yeah, he's pretty comical Craig, he's been here all winter & we named him George. He hasn't been around for a couple weeks now so I assume he's off doing the mating thing.
  18. Still got lots of snow here but it's sunny & warm and yesterday I worked outside in a T-shirt and actually got a sunburn and this morning had a robin in the tree. Roads are dry so today I'm removing the winter tires and putting on the summer ones, so that should guarantee a snow storm in the next few days.
  19. That's basically what I use too Craig and they do a great job of keeping the unwanted critters away from the feeder. I bought mine from CTC and if I remember correctly, it was around $25
  20. I've always said "you don't need to catch a fish to have a great day of fish'n" Good to hear you guys enjoyed yourselves Brian.
  21. I almost never watch movies simply because I don't have the patience to sit in front of the TV for 2 hours, but I did recently watch Captain Philips with Tom Hanks. Maybe not the best movie I've ever seen, but it was pretty interesting and based on a true story. If it's still being shown on TV, I'd recommend it.
  22. Sad part is, Wynne and her Lie-berals will probably get back in....again.
  23. My last 2 trailers have come factory equipped with swing-away tongues and both had the cables mounted right behind the hitch. Personal opinion though, but I much prefer chains to cables.
  24. They talked about the cell phone incident on the Today Show this morning and evidently the woman has actually received death threats over all this. No charges against her though as cell phone use while driving isn't against the law in her state. As for the guy in the pick-up, the police determined from the video that he wasn't wearing a seatbelt so they charged him with that along with leaving the scene.
  25. I made my own Drew with all the components bought at Home Depot. Stainless wire cable, snaps, crimps and heat shrink.
