Thanks. I forgot to mention, I do have a pressure washer available up there as well. I was more concerned with the use of chemicals on the paint. I'll throw a new set of plugs in next year as well. Cheers.

Hey guys. I'm sorry if this has been discussed before but I'm getting ready to pull the boat out of the water at the cottage soon. I am planning to change the lower unit oil, stabilize the gas and replace the oil/filter on the engine. I also plan on fogging the cylinders before storing. I have never had the boat in the water all season as it was this year. There is a obvious buildup of calcium and algae deposits throughout the aluminum hull and engine. Any tips on cleaning this off safely? I was in the Basspro shops yesterday looking at "boat-bottom" cleaner but I am afraid to use the product. It claims to dis-colour paint. I am assuming it may not be for aluminum hulls??? Thank you in advance for your help.

Nice hut Simon. Looks like you're going to be fishing in style (and comfort) this winter. Cant wait for the ice myself. I was out looking at new huts in Basspro Shops last night. You must be referring to a "Woodbridge stop" That’s when the guy (or gal) feels that slowing down and looking to make sure no one is coming constitutes a full stop. Unfortunately I live just off Rutherford at 27. I also have three young drivers and Rutherford road scares the heck out of me. I feel your pain Mike. I was selling a 2008 travel trailer worth 20K and I put up a "reasonable offer" comment. I had one guy offer me $1500.00. I snapped. I asked him if he new the value of the item and his reply was " I just wanted to start at $1500.00 and work my way up".

Hey Chris, hang in there. I gave up fishing for over 10 year after I was first married to spend more time with my family. They are only young once and that was my priority at that time. Funny thing happened though, my son loves fishing now more that I did at his age and my oldest daughters still love to pick up a rod when we are up at our cottage. Take care of your family. You are yonge and have may years of fishing ahead of you if you choose to "come back". Cheers.

Darn hackers! Just found out our business phone system was hacked by long distance thieves. They made 4 hours worth of call to Nicaragua so Bell shut it down. Apparently they hack though your voice mail system so we had to change all the passwords. That just sucks!

Josh, boat parking spots in the city can get pricey. Many people don't mind a car but may not like the eyesore of a boat in their driveway 12 months of the year. I would have suggested finding a parking spot before you went looking for a boat. Just my $0.02 worth.

They are truly amazing animals. I have a Lab myself, and though still just a pup, he has already amazed me in many ways. Smart, loyal and unconditional love would sum up my Toby.
