  1. She's definitely a keeper. Congrats Brian.
  2. My deepest condolences on your loss Albert. May you cherish the good memories forever my friend. Tony
  3. Funny, I was thinking the same thing. Anybody know if dogs would be welcomed to the show?
  4. Sounds like you overfilled the crankcase with oil. Most snowblowers only take a liter of of oil to fill it. Did you check the dip-stick Drain some out to the proper level and you should be fine. Most snowblowers are four-stroke, however, they do make smaller units that are two stroke and do require mixed gas. I own one of each. Cheers.
  5. .........and gets two feet of driveway per gallon!
  6. Good luck to you Paul. Keep thinking, it's the best thing you can do for yourself. Think of all the extra money you will have. Maybe enough to buy some new tackle???
  7. Way to go Steve! Nice seeing the whities making an appearance for you.
  8. Nothing yet. Everyone seems to be out of stock. Not the right time to be looking for one. I can order the 6 man from Costco.ca but I think it is a little big for me. I'll keep looking an hopefully someone will be selling theirs or I can find a deal somewhere closer to Toronto. Thanks.
  9. Thanks, I'll give Jos a call.
  10. Lebarons is sold out of all pop-ups and Costco has them available only online The 6 man is $279.00 including shipping. I don't know if anyone else has any left in stock.
  11. Thanks. I will try calling Lebarons.
  12. Thanks Scugog. Have you seen them recently at any Costco?
  13. Hey Joey, not much fun when some idiot almost ruins your whole day. I wish they would be a little more considerate for others out there. These are most likely the same guys that leave their garbage on the ice hope that it will miraculously evaporate before the ice melts.
  14. Hi guys. I am looking to take a couple of friends out this upcoming week-end for some perch. I am currently using a Calm Kodiak so fishing with friends is not possible. I would like to purchase a pop-up style of hut that can house 3-4 guys and our gear. Any recommendations on a make and/or model? I was hoping not to break the bank on this one as it will only be used a couple of times a year. I did see one at Lebarons made by HT and also one on the Costco website. Does anybody know who may have one in stock? Thanks in advance for your help.
  15. Thanks Jacques. Tried it out today on the ice and it worked great! I also caught a nice whitefish as well.
  16. Thats why I couldnt fit the range in it........................
  17. Well, ever since I started ice fishing a few years ago, I have always tried to come up with up with little innovations to make the experience out on the ice an enjoyable one. I know I am not the only one, as I have seen many great little ideas that other OFNers have come up with that have helped me as well. It seems that for every problem, there is a solution. Ice fishing seems to be full of problems and bring out the innovators in all of us. I have found unique ways to pack everything on my ATV (including my auger and minnow bucket) and unique hitch system to make the time required to pack up and move minimal. The latest “problem” was eating a cold (and sometimes frozen) sandwich for lunch. Well I realized that my Mr buddy heater made a great sandwich warmer. With a little thinking and a couple of coat hangers, I came up with this: It would be nice to see what others have done to solve some other challenges. Thanks for reading. Be safe out there. Cheers!
  18. Dan, I find my H2O doesn't like the cold though. I have to keep mine in th e hut if I want to use it when it get really cold.
  19. Nice going Steve. Good to see you on them. Be safe out there!
  20. Geoff, have used a Garmin GP72 for years for exactly what you want to do. I have also just purchased a used Lowrance H2O so I can use my hotmaps from my boat GPS. I have found the Garmin works well, however, I wanted to see the lake depths for new and better ice fishing grounds. I paid $75.00 for the H2O on Kijiji.
  21. Ya Dan, I can't wait to test 'er out tomorrow. I will actually know how deep the area should be. Too bad it can't tell me how thick the ice is!
  22. Just got my new (well new to me) H2O that I found on Kijiji. Came all the way from Thunder Bay. Seems to work perfect and only cost me $85.00 with shipping Cant wait to try it out on the ice this week-end. Cheers.
  23. Lowrance make a new Endura line that is similar. I just like the way the H2O looks and works. That and the prices for these new models are up there.
  24. I have. I'll keep looking though.
