I was thinking while watching the video one might use it as a downrigger pulling the bait behind it. Lights are a no no but we already have underwater cameras. The fish might freak seeing this thing coming at them. And exactly what I thought too Ohiofisherman, with a boat like that you probably could buy the company along with the unit.

Do you really believe that demanding a fee will reduce poaching or ensure those that leave a mess behind will stop doing what they do? A poacher most likely doesn't buy a fishing license so I wouldn't think they will pay anything to continue poaching. As stated by a few here the key is enforcement. How will these people that break laws and basically uber litter be dissuaded if they know there is no one there to fine them? They won't be, they will continue to do what they do until the fines become so high they will not continue to do what they do. The only reason people don't drive 140 KPH or faster on the roads is the enforcement of the Highway Traffic Act plus the possibility of the sky high fines and increases in insurance rates, loss of a drivers license not withstanding. If they propose that a fishing licence be much greater than they are now many people simply won't buy a license. It simply is not in my pensioners budget to pay $500.00 to buy a fishing license. I will then become a poacher and risk being fined. I have been asked twice in the last 35 years if I had a license. You can do the math for someone that doesn't buy a permit for 35 years has saved themselves knowing that most likely get a slap on the wrist is all they risk.

Braggart. The guys fish the docks of Marinas as soon as the ice out here on Erie's north shore. Since there is no ice in sight I really wish I could help. But I can tell you I occasionally go to a upper NY State inland lake for the Pike opener 2nd weekend in May. There is a couple there that fish 100% for Crappie. They have been going there for the last 50 years, they are in their 70's. They bring in 2 full 5 gallon pails day in and day out by noon then clean fish all afternoon. They use micro spoon jigs below pencil floats right on shore where there are overhanging trees and broken limbs under the water, no bait. They slay them and it is in the middle of May. Sometimes the gentleman told me they will tip the mini spoon shaped jig with a tiny twister tail.

I only wish. I need to Google map the distance because I would love to fish with you someday Sir, heck I would just be happy to meet you. How far from Newmarket is Hales Cliff? I have a place to stay close to Newmarket, actually Holland Landing. My days of driving north and coming back the same day are over.

Dicks is a US company, plus exchange and shipping and duty and brokers fee = $350.00 CDN including embellishment. Ask Wormdunker how much he saved on his PFD I think it was. Could have bought it here much cheaper. A similar net was $89.00 CDN a few years ago at Bill's Bait in Hamilton, Featherstone Ted bought one. Small store need to rid themselves of stock because they just don't have the space. Too big for my Perch and Smallies so I passed. Shop Canadian and shop at your local Mom and Pop Tackle stores. Bill's always matches CTC or any of the big guys like Bass Pro. They can't offer those prices on mas but for 1 or 2 customers they will take the hit because of store loyalty.

Yep, mine were tinted a light blue. I see many of these out on the road. I guess you can use old plates if you go to MOT and change the ownership to show the change. Then they charge you for a new piece of paper I bet. My quote feature works again???

I took a ride to Port Dover and the crews are working on the tugs to get out on the lake. It looks like April out here. A few groups on the golf course outside Cayuga the other day, it was 16C. I had to replace the plates on the Nissan. The paint was peeling off the metal in large sheets. Just came in under the warranty period. I can't remember how long. I would have been livid if I had to buy new plates. I give them a coat of wax annually. Years ago I had plastic covers on my plates and was told by a Cop it was illegal and I took them off.

I have Rock Swallows nesting in the bird houses this AM. The Hostas are 2" high. I can smell fresh topsoil. According to what is going on here one would think it is April not February. I would think twice about going out on any ice now. You ice guys know better than me and are further north, just be smart about it, please.I put out the patio stuff out today. Feb 24th????? Just caught a fishing show on the new Bell channel BBC Earth. "Fishing Impossible". 3 young Brits and one that is called Blowfish who is a Heavy Metal Marine Biologist complete with a Mohawk and face shrapnel. They fished for Northern Pike on a Scottish Loch and chummed the fish from the air via one of those motorized parachutes. The best was that they used a Drone rigged with a line and a float, hovered over the water in a contest against the other team that flew a kite with line and float and they both caught Browns! I'm going to try my brothers new Drone instead of using planner boards. They put water wings on the expensive Drone in case it crashed. Blowfish dove a wreck looking for Ling with rod and reel vs. one other guy that put out 10 lines. Rigging 10 lines and watching them can be a challenge. I know you can get it online but unfortunately my PC won't enable me to cut and paste. Check it out, nothing serious but it's fun to watch. No selling tires either. My wife has a few hobbies and one is astronomy, she recently was so exited because she read that an entire new solar system was recently discovered and the planets in it have water and all the things needed to promote life. I looked at the site and it was clearly a fake, Reuters was spelled wrong. Should I burst her bubble or let her go around telling people the internet "alternative truth" hoax? Now that's "Fake News" Donnie. CNN, NY Times, Wash Post and LA Times didn't report it though so maybe it's just alternate truth not fake.

Bass are out of season June 8th. I agree though Bass beat Walleye any day for the fight. Seeing a big Smallie on the line jump like a Gymnast beats the tug, pump, tug of a Pic any day. More like pulling up a rubber boot. People might say they C@R Walleye, I'm not to sure about that unless the fridge is full. Most fish for them for the table, we do unless it's a little dink. It seems Quinte has become a Trophy fish destination in Winter rather than the numbers you used to get in the Spring. They set the limit to 4 years over 25 years ago and now it appears that didn't help.

Our neighbourhood is notorious for dogs running around off leash. Their owners are putting their pets in a dangerous situation. More than a few times I heard the squeal of tires and then the yelp. Those dog owners should be made to run across he 400 highway. One of those dogs ran up on my 82 year old Mom when she was here and knocked her to the ground. I read the guy the riot act. Who do I see the next day with the 2 dogs off leash? Same idiot. Another neighbours dog snuck up on me a few winters ago, I turn around and trip over the dog and I tore my knee up, again. Who do I see run the dog everyday here off leash? You guessed it, my idiot neighbour who I think trolls this site. It' not the poor dogs fault I keep reminding myself. Dogs are dogs, they do what dogs do. Train them to stop on command, they will do that if trained well. Our next door neighbours pure white Husky will walk to the property line and sit and watch, he only comes over if I tell him to.

I would just be crushed if I switch over and the picture isn't as good. I will go to the Shaw site and see what quality it comes in at. Bell is supposed to be 1080p. edit: I went to the Shaw site and built the package we have with Bell now. It comes in almost to the dollar what we pay for Bell now. The only difference is I would have to get a second receiver and would not get the promo being offered which is a free DVR which I think is for a limited time only. The rep on the phone said HBO was available but I don't see it in any of their packages. I will stay with Bell for now.

My pals would head there twice a year for the last 20 years, A week in May and Oct. They have been virtually skunked for the last 3 years and are not going back. They fished everywhere the last few years, from Picton to the Telegraph Narrows, Big Island and Hay Bay. Water levels were so low last Oct. they couldn't get the boat in the water other than Belleville. I hate to say it too but you are a few years too late. Big Island was our May opener spot for about 10 years in 80's into mid 90's. Limits everyday were common. Once we were full of Walleye we went for Pike and catch and released the Walleye for a few days. We would take our fish to the Picton Legion and give them away so we could catch fresher fish.

Line of site seems to be an issue. Large tree line along the shoreline. Shaw is offering an introductory deal. $49.99 plus, plus, plus. They don't say what the bundle packages are or how much they charge. I am going to need a microscope to read the macro print on the bottom of the page. It is so small it's ridiculous. I thought that there was some law made to stop this unreadable print. I will go online and see what the actual cost is. My Bell Sat TV picture is crystal clear. Many friends that come over have commented how great a picture we get. 7 year old Samsung LED.I have seen Shaw Sat. and it doesn't compare. Might be a cheap HDMI cable or the TV's I have seen. I have had huge problems with Bell over the years, like a $1800.00 expresvu bill for a 56K dial up 15 years ago. A "demon dialer" was the culprit and Bell would not take responsibility for it. A Class Action suit developed as I wasn't the only victim. That is a too long story and ancient history anyway.

This guy is too hard headed and stubborn to let this thing beat him. If it takes this decease to beat him as long as it is taking for him to finish his Rec Room he's good for another 30 years, at least!
