  1. Looks like you are living the dream bud!!! The camp is getting nicer and nicer.
  2. I guess you'll be building a nice timber palace there next...............
  3. I'd go back there next year if the cabins were nice. You need to figure out the fish on any new body of water. My first time on LOTW, I'd go out for 3-4 hours and catch nothing. Hit the right spots with my father in law later in the evening and in a half hour to an hour we'd limit out. You need to know the water and where the spots are. Make sure you have a portable fish finder next time you go along with a proper chart of the lake. You may be surprised how good the fishing can be when you find them.
  4. Salmon up that way are getting very very hard to come by. If you want good salmon fishing, Lake O is the way to go. For pike, walleye, muskie and bass, GBay is great.
  5. Get a chart!! Too many people think that they can be in deep water and be fine, Georgian Bay is notorious for having big rock cliffs come out of nowhere and while the back of the boat is in 100' of water, the front is up on a shoal. Go to your local West Marine and they should have the chart in stock, otherwise pick one up at one of the local marinas. Spending 30 bucks on a chart sure beats spending a couple thousand to repair your lower end.
  6. If it's an '08, why don't you contact LUND??? You may be able to get this repaired under warranty. I'm surprised nobody mentioned this. It's only 3 years old and to have a warped transom, not acceptable.
  7. The tubing pics are priceless!!! Looks like you were the one screaming like a little girl!! The Bancroft area sure is pretty and it looks like there are some nice lunkers in there. Now you got me Jonezing for some bass fishing...... This weekend.
  8. I'll be fishing GBay Friday afternoon if I can get up there early enough. I need an hour to get my trolling motor mount on right and I'll be hittin' the water and beatin on some bass. Nice pike BTW.
  9. Here we go......... Conspiracy theories abound. Like one of the Rockefellers said a few years ago before 9/11, 'don't worry about what you can't control, just take care of yourself and your family'. Tune into Alex Jones and watch Jessie 'The Body' Ventura's show. You'll be stockpiling food and munitions in no time.
  10. Has to be a problem with one of the seals. I think he could probably get a copy of the manuals at iboats.com.
  11. Nice!! My two girls love fishing for panfish and my oldest wants to come out with me for pickereyes one evening. Fun times!!
  12. Check your fuel lines to see if there is an issue with venting. Does the primer bulb on the fuel line stay full after you give it a couple of squeezes??
  13. I've got a St Croix Premier and a Shimano Compre in 2pc. The Premier is my go to musky rod. A bit more pricey but all in all, a nicer rod.
  14. Good news!! That's great Wayne! She'll be dancin' in no time!!
  15. For younger kids,8 and under, it's a great spot. All the rides don't have a height restriction on them and the kids will have fun so in that sense, it is worth it.
  16. Just checked it, you can order a net from them directly if you want. norsemenoutdoors.com
  17. I know you can call JB's and have them send it to you. As for dealers in Southwestern Ontario, I don't know. Check Stowmaster's website.
  18. Great report!! I miss the in-laws cottage there off of Storm Bay Road. some spots we went fishing were positively gorgeous. There is one little island I would love to buy one day.
  19. Put in a 1/4 cup of bleach and fill it up with water and let it sit for a couple of hours and then empty it out and give it a quick rinse. That way you are killing any bacteria that are in there that are causing the odour. If it still smells, then try one of the other methods, I like the borax method, it will freshen it up BUT kill what is in there first.
  20. Worth a trip to Barrie. It's too bad to see that happen but I guess those that go shopping there will score some great deals on stuff.
  21. I had an issue with the 2 Broil King bbq's that I have. Both of them had a major issue with the lower castings which had buckled from the heat of the bbq. I was ready to buy 2 new bbq's in the spring but was advised at Barbecues Galore in Oakville to call up OMC to see if they would warranty my castings. Both barbies were 8 years old. After sending them some pics, I received 2 brand new upper and lower castings, 2 flavorizer bars, 2 sets of new cast iron cooking grids, and 2 new warming racks free of charge with shipping included. So for $60/each for new burners, I have 2 pretty much new bbq's other than the stand assemblies. I'm more than happy with their service on this issue.
  22. I'm down the road from there, the only real option other than Canadian Tire or Wal Mart is LeBaron's at Dixie and Dundas in Mississauga OR JB's Fishing Depot at the 427/401 area.
  23. Great Report and even Greater Pics!! Too bad about your now hookless lure. Your arm will heal but the lure is toast.
  24. Looks familiar......... Good job on the pickeral. They'll be scattering to deeper water soon, I figure I have another week or two up in HH before it becomes real work trying to find them.
  25. You should have got his licence # and gone to where they do their weigh ins and had a talk with him and the tourney director. He should know better. Jack
