  1. That's 5 hours??
  2. All is good then, Phil. Thanks.
  3. Calm down dudes. Please don't make it sound like it's a community thing. Jealousy/envy gets to everyone. The man caught a big fish. He might have gotten wrapped up in the excitement of the moment. Let it be and let the story unfold. Thanks.
  4. Roy Rogers.
  5. You can say that again....
  6. A super report of your summer, Wayne. You guys stay strong this week.
  7. It was probably getting too friendly with the weed whacker.
  8. They're certainly not new. They were around 60 years ago when I stated fishing. They'll drop out of the limelight and return as "NEW, Never before seen, banned in 34 States" bait in another 20 years. Four hooks is all that one has, Chris.
  9. More power to the man. No pictures, no name and at 54" it'd need a 32" girth. Let's see what happens here.
  10. Watched the whole thing. History being made. Now tell me that you had dry eyes as you witnessed his safe landing and watched his family and friends as they watched him land. Just great. Thanks for putting me onto it Dave.
  11. Thanks for the words, Rick. It's what makes it all special.
  12. Mike, for the life of me, I can no longer read one of your reports and just reply. I really need to have time to read every word and examine every picture. A pot of coffee helps too. This morning I had the time to do that. There's lots to learn in your reports whether you're a newbie or a seasoned pro. Thanks for sharing yet another gem of a report. I'm absolutely certain that your contributions here, in no small way, encourages people to commit to making each of their trips, whether it be across the street or across the land, as rewarding as your trips are to you. Thank you. ps. This does not just apply to you, Moosebunk and others but every member who posts a report. You make this community what it is, fantastic!
  13. Mine's been slowing down lately. It's really noticeable. Speedtest now gave me ping= 7ms. Upload= 8.43mbps. Download= 1.06mbps. I'll have to do a little housecleaning I guess.
  14. They are manufactured in Princeville Quebec. Bateaux Princecraft Inc. 725 Saint-Henri Princeville, Québec (Canada) G6L 5C2 1-800-395-8858
  15. I'd say the turnover should already have occurred by now. But I have not been there to see. The fish are certainly not in their summer haunts now. You should not fish your conventional areas. Try moving your bait in all areas and cover as much of the water column as you can.
  16. I need a coupla Tekotas as well. What's her phone number?
  17. They're both on sale now. Get the gold at least. That $34 special will just ruin an outing for you.
  18. Doesn't seem to be affecting you much, Connie. Deadstickin' through the ice should get you a few good sized esox. Thanks for the update. I hope the weather clears out for you.
  19. Another exceptional report, Kevin. You did great. Now we all have hawg envy.
  20. And a healthy portion of gratitude to the private pilot who not only spotted the disabled vessel but was able to transmit the exact location to the authorities.
  21. Beauty report! Wish I could have been there Joey. Your pics are getting better and better all the time. You have some super shots there. Is it just me or does it look like you're using poor little Ralphie as bait out on the walking trails on the end of a line? As you know, I've never been to Memquisit although I pass by there all the time....it looks wonderful. And here's a question, Memquisit appears to be built on granite but the cabin you stayed in is on a concrete foundation? I don't think I've ever seen that before. Again, great report, super pics and I'm really glad you two had a good time. Oh, and never thought I'd ever say this but thank Paul for the extra 6 inches.
  22. Thanks, that was a great clip. I'd never seen that one. And so many memories.....Elwood Glover narrates and almost sounds like a teenager. I love that stuff.
  23. I can do without that stuff for another while too. That'd be baby corn. The chips are out of camera range.
  24. Looking forward to seeing the beast, Wayne.
  25. Wow Lew. We all know that that's how is should work but not everyone is built that way. Glad Diane got her cash back. I'm sure that the folks involved in getting it back to her never have problems falling asleep at nights. There are some good people around still and if we can't see them face to face, we could at least continue the tradition.
