  1. Do we have to shut this one down too?
  2. Pink salt is not dyed. It's a naturally occurring salt from the Himalayas. Purest, best quality salt in the world. The only dyed pink salt that I know of is either dyed salt licks or the pink salt used by some merchants to make their meats appear fresher. This may or may not be good for your application but it is what it is. Happy brining brudder.
  3. Wish I could be there but I really can't.
  4. Go ahead Blizz....post it.
  5. A great 2016 to all of your families and friends. There will be bumps in the road for some this year as there is every year but I'm confident that our community will pull together and try to smooth those bumps. That's the great part of this community that I'm a proud member of. The important thing to remember is that we must try to stay healthy and happy....anything else you may want will fall into place. Thanks everyone for letting me be a small part of it. Be well, all of you. ps. Don't forget, fishing is still our raison d'être.
  6. I assume that the $169 price is in USD which works out to $263 in Canadian dollars plus shipping of course. If I were you I'd shop in my area which in your case is a decent area for tackle shops. Go talk to them and see what they say. Then you can always come back to our classifieds and see what some of the members here in your area might have for sale. Just a thought. edit: Wayne's too fast.
  7. Quite the luxury. $2,000. for an anchor? I'd need to get a paper route.
  8. I'm quite sure that member Christopher k can tie exactly what you're looking for. Hope you find what you need.
  9. Wow...I don't like stinky feet beer either. I'm an arm pit kinda guy so I drink Molson Ex. Happy New Beer.
  10. I don't remember the brand offhand but there's a type of fish hook that I buy for making worm harnesses and right on the package it warns not to eat the hooks. Unbelievable.
  11. Great post, Tomcat. I can feel the emotion in that one. Thanks for sharing. You and yours have a Merry Christmas and a healthy, happy New Year.
  12. I've had no problems here, Lew.
  13. So which is the good one, Brian?
  14. I'd love to go but I'm just too far away for a one nighter. I'm sure you'll get a good turnout.
  15. The Brick Shirt House is not too offensive. I liked that place when I lived in the area.
  16. It must be a Friday night thing Geoff. I don't understand that.
  17. Moby Dick is not fishing related, Wayne.
  18. I commonly posted that here, eh?
  19. Excellent report! I love those back lakes too. A great trip with new friends and fish as a bonus...you can't beat that. Thanks.

  21. It's taken me a while to post here...it just never seems that words are enough. The closer the people are to me, the more difficult it is. I know how special Muskie was to your family and friends too. He led a great life and enriched your lives all the while. If dogs could smile, he's smiling now. RIP Muskie.
  22. He's my Bud....I know he reads us when Vogue photographers are not around.
  23. Does this mean anything? Sorry, I'm a little slow at times.
  24. And beat boxing? This is where it began. Enjoy.
