  1. Yup, I'm with Bernie and Chris on this one as well and I hope that's all it is for you Peter. People buying outboards should always factor in the cost of a second prop. No backup prop is akin to having no spare tire for the tow vehicle. Good luck to you Bud.
  2. Lotsa fish for you this past season Jacques! Thanks for taking the time to post that for us. I've fished the big O on many occasions and it really IS one heck of a river. Gotta try Lac Ste-Marie a time or two. Looks like a pretty nice piece of water. Thanks again and let's see the monster you're going to get this afternoon. Be well.
  3. WOW! You could make a deck out of those antlers! Very impressive beast!
  4. Steve, you've had a stellar year and I thank you for taking the time to put it all together for us to enjoy. There's not a heck of a lot I can add to what's already been posted but, if I may, there's one thing that caught my eye and I'm sure that most others noticed as well. Ben posted his year end recap not long before you did (His is a super report also). You read his report and appreciated it as much as the next guy BUT, you also took the time to mention Ben's report in your opening comments. That speaks volumes for your character Bud. Thank you again Steve. Your Dad has one more thing to be proud of and we're glad, as a community to have you with us. Good luck out West. I just hope you keep posting.
  5. Just a beautiful report Ben, you had a super season...thank you for taking the time to post that. Some super fish and pics in there for sure! Good luck to you in the next year.
  6. You did good Glen. Glad you were able to get out for some R&R. What's the spots' main menu there, shiners?
  7. Happy birthday Lew. I'm right behind you Bud. You have a great day!
  8. Beautiful! Those mid-week escapades are the best ones. Glad you two got together for that. Those are both really nice fish. Having met both of you characters, there must have been some fall down funny stories being told in the boat. Thanks for sharing, Ron.
  9. It probably looks a lot less appealing to many folks. I think we should just let them re-load and let the Port D chamber of commerce have at least a tiny chance at trying to fix this.Getting your picture in the paper sure turns some folks into..well, just very strange. Good luck, DUDES.
  10. Really glad to see you back Ron. You're definitely one of the good fellas. Also glad you had some backup when you needed it. And yes, cupcake is a good dude.
  11. "for the dollar" says it all.
  12. Welcome aboard. Looking forward to your reports on Scugog...and wherever else....

Is it his frame, his rack or his sprocket? And DON'T say "inner tube"! Welcome aboard CCM.
  14. Good on ya Cliff. The Toronto Fire Service knows how to pick winners. Snag....the subway vents are a blast!
  15. I've been living here more than 60 years Jer and it still sneaks up on me.
  16. Welcome aboard Paul. Glad you finally made it in. Looking forward to hearing of your adventures.
  17. LOWRANCE I've had an LCX 25-C for 3 years and it's just great. Also have an old X-85 (used to be the tournament standard) at the bow and it's still as clear and sharp as the day I bought it. I've had both Humminbird (3 units) and Bottomline (1 unit) and I much prefer the Lowrance.
  18. Very nice Greg. Impressive colours on them too! Congrats to you.
  19. Can a 20 year old still use the carpool lane to get to work if he's not allowed to have passengers?
  20. So, did we pass? I have NO idea what you're talking about.
  21. Fantastic report Wayne! So glad you all had a great time. You were certainly in good company. That Lloyd dude knows his stuff too! Thanks for posting that.....that was great! ps. We have a tackle store here who doesn't have half of Lloyd's inventory.
  22. The Clam "HUB" folds down to 45"x9"x9" and weighs 19lbs. It's a two man 60"x60" with a 65" centre height
  23. The Pontiac Sunfire IS a portable ice shelter! Sorry Bud, it was stronger than dirt. Are you looking for a one man shelter?
  24. Congrats to you Paul. Just an excellent specimen of a walleye.
  25. Heavy duty report there Shawn! You got some really nice fish there. Congrats to you.
