  1. Great report Mike. Glad you had a good (and safe) trip. You have some nice fish there. I know that sheepies are not what you were after but they still are a lot of fun to catch aren't they? Thanks for sharing.
  2. Very impressive indeed. All quality fish and lots of them. Congrats to you...you worked at it, you deserve the success. Thank you for posting.
  3. Hey TJ! For a two-four I can misplace this thread.
  4. Great thread Lew. They used to call those choppers "Grocery carts that fly" because of the food they'd deliver to ships. I guess the provider would fuel the ships and the choppers did the groceries? HMCS Annapolis did her time but it's still sad to see her go.
  5. Wait no longer, you just did.
  6. That pic was taken in Saskatchewan? Then that must be a woman.
  7. Great message! I see she's left handed.
  8. For trout worms, (not nightcrawlers) go visit a farmer and if you ask nicely, I'm sure he'd let you run a pitchfork through an old manure pile and get all the trout worms you'll need for a season. It'd be a nice gesture to offer him some fish, a case of beer or a decent bottle of wine.
  9. One of? ONE OF???? Wayne, I can see Kraft Dinner for the next while in your future.
  10. To be continued mid March during those cabin fever weeks. Or maybe not.
  11. I had a few of his albums in the late 60's.
  12. Which model do you have Raf?

    OUCH

Dat'll buff right out, me duckie!
  14. Welcome back everyone. What a relief.
  15. Kinda reminds me of a Liberal in Saskatchewan.
  16. No worries Disspatcher......all's cool.
  17. HAHAHAHAHA Great pic, Dan! Thanks.
  18. Yes, great photographs, Jim. God bless your dad for doing for us what many would not do for themselves. Thank you.
  19. WTG Jacques. You did good. I'm glad you had a good time and a PB to boot! That countryside reminds me of Buckingham when I used to go there as a kid. Thanks for sharing.
  20. Yanno, regardless of what the physicists might say, if wearing a magnet helps you to feel better, it's all good. The mind is a powerful thing. I happen to know first hand that magnotherapy changes one's humour. It makes people happy. Case in point is, my dad had a steel plate in his skull ( a WW2 thing) and everytime he came downstairs fer breakfast, he'd walk into the kitchen, a dozen fridge magnets would fly off the fridge and hit him in the forehead. That would make everybody's day. It became the family's morning chuckle. Now of course, manufacturers have taken that bit of joy from our lives by flooding the market with stainless steel.
  21. Here's an interesting read for you Steve. http://www.cbc.ca/consumers/market/files/h...nets/index.html
  22. A great report Justin. Was there that much of a colour difference in those fish or were you also using two cameras? Pretty wild that such different fish would come out of the same area. Very nice fish and pics. Thanks.
  23. I have a few but they're nowhere near as good as Joey's. She'll chime in I'm sure.
  24. Especially since you're a mod there eh? I don't see anything wrong with folks helping other folks by directing them to something that could be helpful to them. But I do see something fundamentally wrong with fishing for members on someone elses' site. And no, I don't think it's just me.
  25. I think your best bet will be the Ottawa river. Reasonably close, lots of fish, lots of ice fishing opportunities and you won't need a Quebec fishing permit. That would be my pick...especially if I was bringing 5 or 10 buds who only had Ontario fishing permits.
