  1. I used to grow them out back. I didn't have the room nor the time to ever push them past 300lbs. But it's very doable. I used to deliver a bunch of them like a thief in the night with a neighbour's trailer...we'd drop them off at different kids' houses for a morning surprise. That was fun. I'd always have a few out front for Halloween ambiance.
  2. I'd say the first thing you should do is get online as soon as possible and get your boater's card. And I'm being serious.
  3. I always fill mine as well, Lew. The worst that could happen is that I'll have saved $1.50 a gallon over the following spring's gas prices.
  4. Here's another tip for you my sudden friend. If dogs like it that much, package and market the mix as "Billy Bob's Kable Kibble".
  5. HEY!!!!!!!!!!!! Figeon Pisher!!!! Yup, and a swell swill it is! How's the thin man and the family? Nice to hear from you Steve.
  6. TJ, take off your shirt. I wanna see what a jealous bear looks like.

A date will be up as soon as we can get one, Moe. Have a great day.
  8. I'll meet you halfway, Simon. For me that would be Hearst. Good fishing up that way too.
  9. I haven't seen it but it certainly sounds like Dave.
  10. Wayne, the guys think it's funny but wait to see the expressions on their faces when TJ shows them the first copies of his book on the aurora trout...complete with photographs.
  11. Some dandies there, Jimmer. Thanks for sharing.
  12. Glad you and Norma are having a good time, Connie. Thanks for the update.
  13. I don't care whose it is Darren. As long as there's food, I'm in and I'll adjust my calendar.
  14. I don't think anyone cares whether you give it a good or bad rating. They got your money. Their goal was not to make a movie but to take a little out of your pocket. They succeeded. I'm sure they're sitting around a boardroom as we speak having a beer deciding which one to release to haul you back in towards the cash register.
  15. And ditto to the Gentile members.
  16. Do a board search on Cordova. You'll find a little in past reports.
  17. The sonar does not pick up the changes in water temperatures/densities. What it does pick up is the inordinate amount of particulate debris and sediment suspended in the thermocline (metalimniom).
  18. Skipper, a better question would be, "Are there any OFC get togethers and if so, when and where are they held?" Don't assume that people are not interested in something because they are not responding to your posts.
  19. I definitely need a coffee....
  20. Be cause it's someone's pet and somewhat domesticated. Also it was written into Jane Doe's script for the clip.
  21. Congrats on the winfall. Y'know, I heard that you were pretty handy at helping others out too, Geoff. Maybe that's how these things work, eh? Of course in Art's case we all know that he's just paying back for some unscrupulous deeds of the past. Catch a big one on the Bay.
  22. Beautiful fish Larry. You gotta love the colours on those critters. You make me sick.
  23. OMG!!!!!!!!!!!! They're absolutely beautiful!!!! Man oh man...I gotta look long and hard at those. You're really fantastic at birds. I'll be fishing with you in November....do you do frogs... as it were?
  24. This should be in the classifieds.
  25. You'll only have another take its place. Cliff is right about the temperature though. When the temps get to the low 40's/high 30's, wasps get lethargic. They'll stay in the nest and won't move. If you don't want another nest being built there next year, they sell plastic nests that you hang in the place of the one you're removing. Wasps are territorial and will not populate an area where other wasps have settled. Oh and regardless of the temperature, the best time to be handling a wasp's nest is after dark.
