  1. Thanks Ron and all others who take the time to work on these things for the good of all Ontario fisher folks.
  2. So I presume that no one was injured?
  3. WOOOOOOOOOOHOOOOOOOOOOOOO! I'll get my camera back!
  4. Maybe it's on Discovery eh?
  5. I wonder if he knew that one day he'd be on the interweebs?
  6. More easily accomplished with waders removed.
  7. X10 Most good quality sonars have flasher mode too....most people don't use it.
  8. Certainly isn't stronger for lefties. Just sayin'.
  9. Good luck to you. If I may be so bold, I must say that your spelling is impeccable.
  10. It's the Christmas season. I don't think it's a big deal for someone who knows the area to point someone in the right direction or a particular spot where everyone fishes from the bank. Personal messages also work well in these instances.
  11. Nice. Don't know what to make of that one. Is the cat looking at food or a friend? Cute.
  12. Ha! I asked out of curiosity. The last time I fished there standing on the causeway pipes almost 50 years ago, I caught 7 muskies in less than 2 hours throwing floating rapalas. It was the hot bait at the time. These were just small skis but it still was a fun time.
  13. Do people still fish from the causeway in Port Perry?
  14. Good on ya for sticking it out, Dave. Ice fishing is almost warm compared to 45K winds in a boat this time of the year.
  15. Ct'un beau mangeux de caca ton chum?
  16. Some nice fish there guys. So Fidel climbed a tree for a float and had a swim eh? Any photographic evidence around?
  17. A smart line manufacturer would sell that as an advantage.

    A Wee Rant #2

I've read this thread finally...no time what with sorting my socks drawer again and answering personal messages.. I will say this though. I will answer every one of your concerns/posts individually as I see them. It may take a while but it'll be done. I'll start here with the OP. I honestly don't know which of your posts were edited or if any indeed were. But please let me know which one(s) and I'll see if I can help you. For now, all I have to say is, the key to effective communication is to use the least and the most understood words possible. How can someone understand "I thy eye offend thee, then pluck it out." It makes no sense to me. Errors in a very well known biblical quote will just make the "big" words useless. Seriously though, tell me which of your posts were massaged and by whom. (if you know which dude did de deed) Thanks
  19. Yeah, thanks for the laugh.
  20. Watched him as a kid in December Bride with Spring Byington..and his role for a while with Jack Webb on Dragnet....I remember in MASH..he had been a cavalry officer and when his Jeep sputtered, he drew his service revolver and shot it. RIP
  21. That was just bloody excellent! I could listen to that kinda thing all day. Thanks.
  22. HA! That hadn't even crossed my mind, Rob.
  23. The happy news is that seeing as they're trying to make them look like a pin to sell them for more, we'll be seeing lots of them pictured next to fish in this winter's ice reports.
  24. Craig, BPS has them and the specs on their online catalogue. I saw them there very early this morning.
  25. Thank you for the kind thought Joe but may I suggest we only click on a banner if the product or service is of use to us. Banner clicks don't really help anyone and serves to falsely inflate advertising stats. Thanks though....was a good thought.
