  1. Cabela's are very nice suits but they running out of stock very quickly. You might even find that tops and bibs are no longer available in your size or colou choice.
  2. He was standing on my shoulders, Mike.
  3. That's also a good point.
  4. You're right Bud. I don't tell him often enough.
  5. Unless regulations have changed recently, it's legal to sell trout roe in Ontario provided you have a license.
  6. Who the heck cares what it weighed anyway? The young lad caught a nice pike and it was posted for your viewing pleasure. Period.
  7. Everyone has tried most things on baits. Ask the people who catch fish what they actually put on their baits. Nothing. You can make an argument for fish such as catfish who'll often catch their fish based on the most putrid , smelly bait they can find. That's how they eat...some don't even bother to use a hook....the fish will hang on because of that wonderful, oh so disgusting smell. No, I don't use attractants. Ever.
  8. BTW, don't listen to Art. You'll never find a "sabrinki". They're called sabiki....available at most tackle shops and are even easy to make. Google them to see what they look like. Good luck to your friend.
  9. I was pulling your leg to get your thread out of "Announcements". You should check though...have you not got a copy of the regulations? Google it to be sure.
  10. Mainly because it's closed til January 1st.
  11. For Paul, 6.5 in the winter. Congrats on your first trip of the season, Chad...and brand new spot too!
  12. Yes Brian that's the terrible part of ice fishing...the start and end of seasons. Meanwhile there could have been a couple of very knowledgeable, experienced fishermen out there who knew that they were safe on that thickness....but someone decided to ride their sled over to ask them how the fishing was and BANG! PLEASE be careful, others aren't.
  13. Thanks Randy.
  14. And boss, I've read all of your posts (111) and they are almost without exception, questions about where to fish. Not one single report either. That's your choice but it certainly does not weigh heavily in you favour. Sorry but facts are facts.
  15. Calm down boss. Terry has been here long enough that he knows what he's doing.
  16. This is good news. Listen to the others about following orders to the letter. I know you'll be fine and this'll have been just a bump in the road for you. You'll be fishing soon. Be well.
  17. She stayed on shore for a day then ran off. I read the comments. Nice random act of kindness.
  18. It's your new manual auger
  19. The rules for alcohol and boating here in Quebec are the same as anywhere else in Canada. I concede however that the authorities here are more tolerant.
  20. This one's done but it's staying up. Thanks for everyones' input.
  21. That's great. Looks like it's getting ready.
  22. Just my opinion, Ernie.
  23. I think Bob's right on this one Mike. The problem with these things being posted on a public forum is that we have youngsters reading this and even perhaps a few inexperienced adults and seeing National Pro Staff members posting about the fun they're having on 4" of ice, well, it could send the wrong message.. Just my opinion.
  24. Don't you wish those muscles were brains?
  25. But you'd do it for walleye?
