  3. That is amazing! I have 7 of then but too young to take anywhere:( Two of the boys had a fun day fishing a pond, taking them out again. BTW, We get them when the parents have to go somewhere
  4. My daughter had that problem, crack in the cement foundation. The builder did and injection repair, sealed the crack on the outside and all is well. I can't give you details on how the injection works as I wasn't there to see. But looks like it works. I don't know if this would work if it was cinder block wall.
  5. I've seen two around my place for the last while at about 6:30 in the morning. Also have a rabbit under the A/C during the night! gave him food last weekend.
  6. I used to love going really really fast, then they started to catch me! I sold the Firebird and they haven't seen a penny since 1973 I drive for the conditions, like Cliff said. I never get in anybody's way in good or bad weather. Years ago going ice fishing, going up the 400, light snow dark . . .just before the Oakridge we could see lights coming up fast, we were under the limit. he passed us with no problem and kept his speed, as we came over the ridge lights were looking at us in the center lane! he was fine, we kept going!
  7. terry are you in Innisfil? I'm worried about my daughter?
  8. Tell the squirell story and you will be a great hit! A bit of humour always brings them back.
  9. A transformer blew as I drove to work this morning and traffic lights were out that I could see in Woodbridge?
  10. Many years ago on tha Geen, we take up a new bee as can be. Well never held a rod . . . The fishing guru "the Spinnerman" gives him the lay of the land 'cast up, drift and reel in . . . Feel a ug set the hook . . . Well, the casting wasn't all there. Finally gets one out and let's it drift way to much feels a tug and sets the hook, overjoyed in he reels, yelling fish On, fish on, one of the guys down the run starts yelling "cut the line you have my waders" and he keeps reeling, we took him home uninjured.
  11. take it home, carve it out, add the good stuff and sit by a fire beside the pool.
  12. You just said "stuff it" yes Lew they are out to get us.
  13. We save it and pay high for what we use and they sell to the States and Quebec for next to nothing! Figure that one out. Or pay them for not generating at all!
  14. I have Kodak and a Olympus good for every day general use. No underwater capabilities . . . But for genaral use they are good. I miss my SLR Pentax with manual controls If you can afford it go for a digital SLR and it will give you many years of enjoyment. many of our members are into photography and will chime in.
  15. ON CALL! Take the phone with you, probably a 7 minute run to shore change in the truck and off you go.
  16. Roy is on the right track those, turn styles count and when they first opened they turned 10,000 times a day according to some retail sales report I read. I don't think they are on their way out.
  17. Great report. Love Jeep, my 1995 Grand went 377,000 and sold and still running. Not happy with the Compass, too small What is the price tag on one of these?
  18. Stay there, I'm looking outa nd it's coming down hard. Not a good day at all Drive safe on the way back.
  19. Great fish Bill! 25 fett under the ice
  20. It's how you drive and respect the road conditions. You know Vaughan and these 'high priced' drivers think that they can go anywhere. I had a situation on Monday at Sanoma and Islignton (my exit onto a main street) I stopped on a red and with a fool that had been in a hurry behind me for a few blocks. I make my turn unto the RIGHT lane, NOT him/her decides to go to the left lane a bit faster ( may have not liked my right turn:) No problem pal, I looked back and he/she was coming behind me sideways! people just don't get it! Slow down to the conditions of the road. Getting hurt or even dead does not accomplish anything, only creates problems.
  21. Wayne, glad all is well. Monday I left for work and when I got there (one and half hours from Woodbridge to Steels and Vic Park, I drive slow ) I warned my wife "don't go out." I get a note that she and number one daughter, with two small kids are in Brooklin visiting daughter number 3! NOT happy, construction on hwy 7 lack of lighting and weather can do it. thankfully they made it back fine. BTW your daughter has our morals about getting to work! You didn't guide her home No need to take chances. I've now built in guards so I can work from home
