  1. Nice size! I assume those were inland bows? Looks like a nice spot! S.
  2. Get a larger one if you can. The 2 man is great for one person, but its not really big enough for 2. S.
  3. Lowrance Elite 5 hands down out of that list. S.
  4. Post that Alaskan up here when your ready. Is it a tiller?? I may be interested. S.
  5. The snows would only be 10mm narrower, (which is better in snow IMO), and 5% of the width lower. I don't see a big deal between them, but I"m not a tire expert. IF it was me I would put them on and be done with it. S.
  6. Where are you located? Have you checked service ontario? Also, Fleming college in Lindsay might have some of these.
  7. That Stevie is a great lad. He stole my money at the poker table, but i took the pot in the derby that year! Nipigon is right at the top of my list. 2017 is the plan. Maybe see you up there.... S.
  8. Nice! Is that a rocking chair on his head? Hes a beauty!!
  9. Ha...beat me to it! Love that boat!! S.
  10. Worm harness or a 4" white grub on a 1/4oz jighead.
  11. I will keep you in mind next time we head out somewhere Cliff. We almost always drive right by your place when we go wherever we are going. S.
  12. Ditto. Best time of year to be in the marsh shooting ducks. S.
  13. Try where you got those crappies we talked about. I've caught tons there at night. S.
  14. Night time off shore with shallow running cranks or minnows.
  15. I know, but in time you will want the calcutta, so best to just buy it first and be done with it. S.
  16. Stick with Shimano IMO. Calcutta if you can. S.
  17. I agree 100%. The only part of your vehicle that touches the road. S.
  18. I dont see it happening either. The ducks haven't even started to really migrate yet. That is always a very good indication. I have icefished scugog in early november a few times, but its not gonna happen this year. S.
  19. Of course they were. NEVER go to the dealer!! EVER! S.
  20. PM liverelease. He makes some nice bucktails too. I slammed fish on them in the spring. They are tough as nails too. S.
  21. My wife doesnt ban me from anything....especially icefishing....she begs me to take her!! Ice shifting is actaully a good thing. Its a sign that the ice is getting thicker and expanding. I have ice fished simcoe on Dec. 8th before. Lets hope this year is a repeat. S.
  22. Some of you guys are getting hosed on bills. I pay $100 a month for unlimited internet, landline phone, and shaw direct satellite. If its live I watch it on TV, everything else I watch through my laptop plugged into the TV. Having the computer hooked up to the TV has a lot of great advantages. I have been using it a lot to learn new songs on the guitar, and even guitar lessons on youtube. Laptop to TV, TV to PA system, and plug in the guitar too. I love it. Everyone else in the house hates it, but OH WELL LOL....we are doing a karaoke party in a few weeks all through the same set up for free. There are all kinds of cool things you can do. S.
  23. I would also consider selling the 9.9 and buying a bigger used boat. If you plan to use it a lot, and have the budget for new, you should really consider something a few years old, but bigger. A 16ft deep and wide tiller is a very nice all around versatile boat that isn't too pricey. Finding one is the hard part. For the price of a new 9.9 and new 14ft tinny, you should be able to find an older used 16 footer. Its a much better boat. That said, a used 14 footer would save you a bunch of coin too. I don't like new stuff. Its just a waste of money. I buy everything used but good condition. With a bare 14ft hull, you should be able to find something easily, and it will be much cheaper than brand new. An old hull with a new engine would be a great rig. S.
