I catch them that deep on opener, and 60ft on may 24. You'd be surprised where I find walleye.

How are you fishing for them? What kind of structure? Maybe your technique is only targeting mature fish? S.

I think I'd be considering an upgrade. That part is going to cost you no matter what route you go. Its actually ridiculous. I'm not sure I could stomach paying that for such a simple thing. It might be worth talking to some hydraulic shops. They can sometimes get the same sized parts and install them for much less money. S.

Northern ontario is open all year and they are a pest up there. Tons of bass. I'm just waiting for all the bass prostaffers to leave the musky and walleye alone so I can fish them in peace. lol S.

I tend to shop at my local shops. I will pay an extra buck or two just for the customer service. Theres just something about walking into the local tackle shop and shooting the bull. The ones I deal with will get in anything I want if I ask for it, too. S.

I priced a new yammy at Dewilt in PTBO and they were off their rockers. I went to Tuckers and dealt with them instead. S.

They have been biting good for me too. Snuck out before work this morning and kept 3 for breakfast. Been getting lots of over slots. Its going to be a good year! S.
