I'm with dutch. I like the knot on my spool when the fish get close. I use mostly mono leaders, I don't find any difference with fluoro. S.

Well that's not good news, but no surprise either. I guess I'd better start teaching my son how to fish pike, because muskies are gonna be slim pickins by the time he's my age. I'm not much help on cameron, haven't fished it in years. However, my son and I caught 5 keeper walleye and 3 over slots on another kawartha lake this morning pulling haarnesses along main lake weed edges. Slow troll 1.3-1.5mph. We caught a few bass and crappies as well. S.

If you don't want people using your cached boats, don't cache them! Simple! I've worked my butt off getting boats into lakes like that, and if I show up and someone is using it, then so be it. I wish them good luck. I also spray paint "use don't abuse" inside them. I've nevver had an issue. Maybe you stepped on someones toes, or pissed someone off by blocking access to "your" lake? Just sayin......it pisses me off when guys start whining about people using cached boats!

Bringing live lobster is pretty near impossible, cliff. Cooked, no problem. Once they're dead they're no good to eat. S.

DanC, was it you that gave the info for a price, or a local guide? I still don't see the big deal. I've put lots of people on spots, and they couldn't catch fish. It takes more. Than a spot to catch 'em! Experience will always out produce paid for, or internet information. S.

IMO alumacraft has the nicest tiller layouts going right now. Great boats. The lunds are great too, but their tiller layouts aren't as well thought out, and I'm finding the fit and finish on them is slacking. S.

Drill a hole in the bottom of the compartment the panel is mounted in. Find out where the water is getting in. My buddies boat, it was the cup holder, and the hole drilled for his graph wiring. His was covered under warranty. S.

The battery tender plus is just that, a battery tender. Its designed to keep. Your battery topped up while not in use, not as a dedicated charger. If you want your batteries to last, get a good charger designed for deep cycle batteries. Using the tender all the time to fully charge your battery will burn out the tender in time. Its constantly working at its peak to catch up to a drained deep cycle. My charger starts at 10A charge, then at about 80% of full charge, it switches to 2A charge. A drained 31 series deep cycle takes about 10hrs to charge fully, so I could only imagine how long it would take with just the tender. S.
