If you feel that using sick days as vacation days is up to you, but going to work sick and possibly getting co-workers sick?? If I was one of your co-workers that got sick i'd be peeved off at you especially if I knew that it was all planned.

great thanks, I have Mudlites too.

When putting on Quad tires on the rims there is an arrow showing the right rotation of the tires. I heard that if you want mud tires to be better in the snow that you mount the tires on the other side. So instead of pushing the mud out of under the tires it pushes snow under the tires and it gives you a better chance of not getting stuck. Has anybody tried that?? Because with the amount of snow on the ground now and probably more to come we might need all the help we can get.

I am a Vexilar owner, I had an FL-8 and I upgraded to an FL-18 so I could get the Zoom feature. Upgraded to an FL-22 last year. An FL-22 is not one that you would need because it only goes to 60ft. I will not leave home without my flasher. I also have a camera but it takes too long to set-up. I have a few other sonars that i could've used but once you are used to a flasher you will not go back.

Buckshot rattle with a minnow (just the head if I want to downsize.) But I add 2 small willow blades on the split ring where I attach my line.

I've tried years ago up north, The guy had smoked it, it was just like candy.

Whatever you do after 6 years of non-smoking, don't ever say to yourself " I can have one after all these years, and I'll be okay" I did said that once and I have been smoking again since last XMas. Jan. 1st I'm trying again. Dan

Whatever you do with shiners just make sure that you do not show them a fishing hook, casue they usually die at the sight of one.

Mine is always hooked on my PFD. I always wear my PFD when I am moving with the outboard. But as soon as I stop to fish I take my PFD off.

looking for an open utility trailer NF

Ask around and you might find somebody that makes them. I had a Home Depot one and it was a piece of junk and heavy as hell. I found soembody around Ottawa that makes them to the spechs that you want. I got an 8' X 5' with a drive-on drop tailgate with a removable boat rack on top. It cost me $1,400.00 and weighs about half of the one I had from Home Depot and twice has tough. -
Rotten Egg Smell In My Well Water (non-fishing)
wallyboss replied to mukluk's topic in General Discussion
I had the same issue and it was coming from the hot water tank. Try this first, you'll need 2 people to do this. 1 at the hot water tank and the other at the sink in the kitchen. 1) Turn off power to the water pump. 2) get rid of all pressure by opening tap and letting run until water stops coming out. 3) put a cup of Javex in a bowl. 4) insert kitchen tap spout in bowl. 5) Get the person at the hot water tank to turn on tap at bottom of tank. 6) that should cause the tap in the kitchen to suck in the Javex into the hot water tank. 7) Let sit overnight and next morning let hot water run until the smell of Javex is gone. I used to run a hose from the tap at the bottom of the Hot water tank to my sump pmup hole and drain the tank. You'll be surprised at what comes out of there. That should take care of the smell. If that doesn't work then you can try the more expensive ways mentioned above -
I would bother with 3D yet, it's still a long way until there will be enough 3D programming available for it. Definetly go HD ( actually it is pretty hard to find one that isn't HD) I used to be a Sony guy also. But now I am all Samsung or LG. Sony have nice Bravia, but they are more expensive for the same specs than LG or Samsung. I have a 52" Samsung HD for 3 years now and it is probably on 18 hours a day. And it's still as clear as Day 1. Plasma is okay if you are putting it in a dark basement away from any sun glare, if not LCD is the way to go. Refresh rate of at least 120hz or more. My 52" is 60hz and I can see a bit of movement in the background. I have a 50" with refresh of 120 and it is crystal clear. You are looking at about $1,300.00 for a very good 52" with all the bells and whistle that you'll need. The Sony Bravia would be a tad more than that. Go with Samsung,LG or Sony, they are all well built with top notch technology. Stay away from Citizen, RCa and other bugger companies.

If you choose a Quad make sure it's 4X4 and get kick ass tires for it. Standard tires are useless once you get in a foot of snow.

I have the Extang Solid Fold, I love that cover but it is not a good fit on my 2007 1500Ram TRX4. The outside of the box is not a perfect rectangle but the cover is. At the back the cover is perfect but at the front the gap between the outside edge of the box and the corner of the cover is 2.5" wider than the back. At teh back it looks great but it looks like it is too small at the front.

I used to pay over $100.00 for filleting knives. that is until I bought a Rapala Electric Knife. If I have more than 2 fish(any species) to fillet I take out the electric. It takes a few fish to get used to. But if you want to go manual I relly like the black rubber handled knife by Rapala.

Okay thank you, do you suggest to switch the racks position ?

I bought a Bradley Smoker and time has come to make ribs. I have read that there is a lot of different ways to do ribs. 3-2-1 ect. But it seems like all the info I can find is only for a couple of racks of Babyback ribs. My question is for other Bradley users what are your favorite ways of doing ribs for 8 people. 1 or 1/2 rack per person? How much longer do you have to leave it cooking?

Maybe they tought it was declawed but a cougar's claws are retractable. They would've had to pull back on teh skin of teh paws to see the claws.
