Yeah okay but I have lost count of how many cups we've won since the Leafs last cup!!! I laugh all the time when a leafs fan tries to upset a Hab's fan. It's too bad that the Hab's will not win the cup this year cause it would've been 25 cups in 100 years. The proof is in the numbers. I agree the Hab's had a few bad years here and there but not winning a cup since 67 that's a lot more than a few years. This year is what 42 years???

So much Hab's bashing. But please write down your fav. teams name when you bash the Hab's , We like to have a laugh also!!!!! At least we will be playing in the 2009 playoffs.

It's a whole new season, if anybody can pull off something like that it's the Hab's!!! It happened before !!! Out of 31 times in the playoffs against the Bruins and we won 25 times. History is on our side!!! I don't mind the Hab's bashing!!! Especially by the Laffs fans!!! With 24 Stanley Cup banners up in the rafters we know that anything is possible during the playoffs.

Must be at this time of the year. Those 3 leafs fans were following the team?? I heard that they are teeing off at 3:00 today. Against the Panthers and the Sens. They do say that red will attract fish. I guess the Hab's sweaters in Florida are easy to find a a cheap price. Go Habs Go.

Go to the grocery store and find the no name raw frozen shrimps. You usually can get a bag with 75-80 shrimps for about $6.00. That's all we use on the Ottawa River and the cats love em.

I've never used a culling system, but wouldn't it be better if you didn't have to poke a hole thru the fishes mouth ?? Couldn't there be some kind of pressure clip instead.

I replaced the wood on the transom on my tinny a few years ago. I didn't use wood and what I use will outlive the boat. I went to a store that sells equipment to restaurants and they have white plastic of different thickness that restaurants use as cutting boards. Remove the plywood that is there now measure it and call that place and ask them to cut you a couple of pieces the size of the plywood you removed. What I did with mine when it was put back on the boat was to put the motor on it and where the motor mounts end up on the plastic you just countersink a couple of holes so the motor will not be able to slide once it is tightened down. . The 2 plastic pieces cost me about 35.00 and it will last a long time. Here is a picture of the 2 plastic pieces. And on the picture that shows the boat upside down take a look at the welded patch on the bottom, it was to repair an 18" rip done when I hit a jagged rock. That weld has never leaked. So I don't think that a small rivet hole will leak if welded. Cost me 70.00 to get the patch welded on. The big bolt in the middle of the plastic piece was just put there to reinforce the bracket that goes to the bottom of the boat. It was starting to break, because the guy that had the boat before me used a motor above the max rating for the boat and had too much torque

Great for you Jacques, enjoy it. my daughter loved ice fishing until she turned 13. Then from one ice fishing season to the next that was it she was done. Always a good spending father-daughter time.

I purposely broke the pin that stops it from spinning around(Mine's a Princecraft). I don't need to pull the lever up to turn 360deg anymore it is free turning. You will love it, it sure saves my back, gives me something to lean on.

Hope it comes with floats.

I agree with GCD on the circle hooks. When I icefish at our crappy spot, I usually set up a tipdown on a weed edge for pikes and I use is a circle hook and one day I caught 12 pikes and they were all caught in the corner of the mouth and I never ran for my line knowing that it would set the hook by itself. I think that the circle hook is the best invention (for the fish) in a long time. No more deep hooks.

And if it is under 10hp you don't need to add the h.p. of your kicker motor to the h.p of your main motor for calculations of the Max H.P. for your vessel.

I would just make sure that he knew that it was you he was talking to when he complained and leave it at that.

There are videos on Vexilar.com that explain pretty everything pretty good. They are pretty tough machines but I would take extra care of the transducer. Did you get the carrying bag with it??? I still don't know why they don't make that bag a standard accessory(like Marcuum) instead of having to fork out another 35-40 bucks for it. You'll love it.

That fix will stop the wind from blowing it out. But the shutting off if you move it well that is just for the safety.

There was a movie on one of the TMN channels about that. It was incredible. At one part they filmed the roof of one of the buildings and it was covered with fins to dry out.
