BPM this is taken form the OFC rules "We would prefer that you do not post pictures of fish caught out of season. " Seems like you enjoy rubbing people the wrong way. Possibly why you got booted from F-H. cause they have the same rule. Terry it all comes down to you agree with it and I don't. You won't change your mind and I won't change mine!!!

In 2 different paragraphs , In the paragraph that talks about photograph says nothing about releasing immediatly. Compare apples to apples. The point here is OOS fish should be released immediatly period. Then they say if you catch fish and you want to take a picture do it quickly. Show me where it says if you catch an OOS fish you can take a picture then release it !!! Then I will agree. If CO's can't make up there mind how are we supposed to. You think you're right and I think I am right.
-
 But it also doesn't mean that you can pull over, get out of your car , get your buddy to take your picture then see what the police officer wants??? Immediatly means just that. As soon you can. If they meant as soon as you can after taking a picture and weighing it they would've said so. It is against the law You get over it!!!!!

Algonquin Backcountry ~ Report and Pic's

Great story, felt like I was there with you. -
I use a plastic bin full of water and I cut out a piece of the cover that goes around the lower unit and then I tape plastic around to keep the water in. I wouldn't leave in gear for 20 minutes though but it works for me.

Those things can be deadly to an untrained climber especially with a saw in his hands. I wouldn't want to spur out with a running chainsaw in my hands. Tell him to rent a ladder and make sure sure he has a harness. I spurred out before the laws of Fall Arresting Devices and i fell 15 feet before one of my spurs kicked back in. My groin muscle was sore for a month. Good thing I had the belt around the pole and not free climbing.

I think we have the same kind of boat. I got the plastic to redoe the transom for about 35.00 If you look at the top of the bracket on my boat it was doing the same thing. I drilled thru and put a bolt. It hasn't moved in 4 years. The person that had the boat before me had it overpowered.

how do they taste when they are big like that??
-
I agree contact any Restaurant supplier and get a piece of white plastic that they use for cutting boards. They will have diferent thickness and they cut them to the size oyu want. here is a few pics of my transom now. I even countersunk holes where my motor clamps go in so it will never slide. I will never have to replace that ever again.

Good fishing there Jacques. -
You need a couple of frogs for the slop.
-
But you should also get yourself a can of liquid electrical tape, to put after soldering and then cover with the shrink tubing. But make sure that your wiring hasn't started to corrode already if so cut back until you can find clean wiring.
-
It's up to 92% now. Any weird problems with the trailer lights check the ground first.
-
If it is the original wires I can almost garantee you that it is the ground. Most other connections are inside the lights casing. Buy a spare harness and use the vehicle side of the harness with vaseline in it and connect it to your harness on the trailer when it is not in use. It'll keep the harness free of corrosion.
-
1st thing to do is to make sure that you have a good ground on the trailer side. 90% of light problems that I have worked on was because of a bad ground. From your trailer connection the white wire make sure it goes to the chassis of the trailer at a spot that you will have scrapped the paint off and it is down to bare metal then try your lights again. If they work just put a glob of vaseline on top of that connection and your ground should good for a while. I dont know how old your trailer is. For about 50.00 you can change all of the lights and wires. Just make sure to solder all connections and then protect from corrosion.

I would add half of mono to try to save some of the expensive fireline on a baitcasting reel but not on a spinning reel. That small knot that you will have to make to tie the 2 lines together will always be catching the line when you will be casting out. Use the whole spool and then use 6 ft of Fluoro at the end and then that is all you will have to replace during the summer. The fireline will last you years this way.
