  1. Great story Marty!! As others have said, you have one amazing mother. Good for her taking on such an important role.
  2. Great video Simon. Love the POV angle, felt like I was there with you. Great morning on the water.
  3. Nice to hear from you Dan. Great report and pics. Another place to visit added to the bucket list. Love the real life blonde jokes. lol!
  4. A great father's day gift for those still looking for one.
  5. Certainly one of the better ones in life. Just counting down the days, picking up the last few supplies, and wishing people would quit spying on me...JOE!! LOL! Blaque - you are so right! It is BULL ! lol! Have a great trip mattybculp!!
  6. I do like the early morning for many of the same reasons as above. Love watching that sun come up and the call of a loon is the only other sound. The sound of a fishing splashing about is always great at that time of day or anytime really.
  7. For my old 14ft tinny with a 20hp tiller, it made a big difference in getting on plane and overall ride. Was very happy with it. Don't have one on the present boat.
  8. Safe travels everyone. I believe it was you Spiel that said it takes a week of packing and planning to getaway for a couple of days of fishing or something to that effect. You'd think that you'd have it all figured out by now. Having said that, I better get my:asshat: in gear and start packing as my trip is coming up in a week.
  9. Not sure what kind of a set up you have for the shower but we just use one of these on the flyin. Solar Shower More then hot enough when left in the sun for an hour or so. It can get too hot. Holds enough water for few quick showers. Does a great job for $10. I believe we got it ours at Canadian Tire a couple of years ago.
  10. Remind me never to go fishing with some of you. (Some good pranks btw - love the squirrel idea, no harm done.) With the guys I fish with there is usually enough entertainment without the pranks. :rofl2:
  11. Another great day with Lloyd. Thanks for the report.
  12. Wow. That is terrible news Dan, both parents in a week, cannot imagine what he is going through. My condolences to Josh and his family and friends. Lew - My condolences to you and Diane and her family as well.
  13. Some very nice fish there, SWEET! Great report and congrats on son #2!
  14. Finally got out for some eyes yesterday with the old man and did quite well. Boated about a dozen for the day just fishing edges and rippin' jigs.
  15. I have seen this as well but have no idea why the fish was doing it. Tried to get close to it to see if there was something caught in it's mouth but couldn't tell. The fish took off and never saw it again. Saw a walleye with a bluegill caught in it's yap once acting similar to the pike.
  16. A couple of new menu items for the next trip to Bernie's is see. The chicken sounds and looks very good. The sausages would make a fine pork candy. lol!
  17. Once again you've done some very nice work Jack.
  18. That's great!! Congrats to everyone but mostly to your daughter for all of her years of hard work. At least your wallet will get a year of rest Wayne. lol!
  19. Love seeing the pics of the little ones and the expressions on their faces. Priceless!!! Awesome report Ryan. Good to see you finally made it out on the water.
  20. Welcome aboard Teressa. Look forward to some reports from your neck of the woods.
  21. Awesome!!:thumbsup_anim:
  22. I've used the spikes before and never had a problem putting them into the ground. It really does depend on the soil that you are going into. I'd also look at another fencing guy, the guy I use a few years ago dug the hole out by the house by hand. Mind you the area was free and clear or gas lines or electrical. Not sure what you are up against. I've also seen where someone has cut away the siding, tapped up a 2x4 and just caulked around the wood. Maybe cap the wood with similar coloured siding to blend in?
  23. Radioworld. They are seen all of my electronics business over the past 6 years or more. GPS's , fishfinders, VHF radio, service and pricing keeps me going back. As well as the location. Heard some good things about Angling Outfitters but just not as close for me to get there.
