  1. Little piece of heaven up there. Great pics and report.
  2. Well said Lew. There is WAY too much politics in our lives already. What a stupid idea it would be to introduce testing just so you could go and wet a line. Another bloody tax grab is all it would be.
  3. You guys are too much!! Nice to see everyone having a good time and a few laughs, just what Wayne and the family needed I'm sure. Speaking of "nice shirts" You, Phil and I still have to have our "nice shirt" day of fishing.
  4. Used boat prices are ridiculous right now, certainly a buyers market I'd say. It would also depend on how much work you want to put into getting your package. Some may think of the trip south as an inconvenience to bring one back. I guess you'd have to look at the costs and see if it's worth paying a bit more without the trip south.
  5. Welcome Dev, nice to have another seasoned pro on the board.
  6. It does sound a bit fishy but when I purchase my Crestliner back it 02 it didn't come with a factory trailer. It has a Shorelander (I think, better take a look) for a trailer. That's how it came from the dealer. Maybe the guy was having problems with his and got a good deal on the Glastron or it was a mixed bag of whatever he had on his lot at the time. When I was looking at motors at the boat show there was a guy with a new motor that was still in the crate and 5 years old and still had full warranty . All I can say is do your homework. As good as a deal it might be, it could be a real headache.
  7. He's in good hands in the ICU. Having just seen how they were with my Dad, you can't ask for better care. Don and his family will be in my thoughts during this difficult time. Get better Don, plenty more fish to be caught.
  8. I've got a 2002 1750 Fishhawk. It's been an excellent boat for me. I mainly fish the Kawartha's but the boat has fished Nippissing, Simcoe, Quinte, GB, and Lake Ontario without any issues on rough water days. Not that you want to be out in the roughest of conditions but if you get caught you should be fine. Not the driest boat when it's open like that but I've got no complaints with mine.
  9. No doubt in my mind as well. Two great people for sure.
  10. Me too Spiel. Great report Drew, your Dad is quite a man. Nice fish too!!
  11. Thanks for the info Jason.
  12. Should have many more years left in her with that mileage. Enjoy!!
  13. Lowe's has a spray foam kit with larger tanks available now. I forget the price or the amount of coverage but it might be worth checking out.
  14. Looks fantastic Brian. How many K's on it?
  15. I guess the real question would be which boat Terry? I'd stick with the #2 boat after your report from today. Looking forward to chasing some muskies myself but it will be a couple of weeks before I can do so.
  16. Nice video. I'm guessing the HD GoPro Camera and a Standard def camera. Just wondering what software you used to edit the 2 formats? Thanks for the report.
  17. It's really quite amazing how it all came together. Once again, great job Bernie.
  18. Great report Dan. Those fish just look so purdy. Good to see you back out again.
  19. The smiles say it all. Just awesome that you have those pics to treasure. Great to hear there are some good people out there still.
  20. Beauty fish!! Good karma coming your way after letting her go.
  21. Don't feel too bad Justin, a few of us still have not hit the open water yet this season. Looking forward to the next report.
