Thanks for putting up the report Joe and the pics as well Bernie. Too bad there were not some more photogenic fish that wanted to pose for the camera. We gave it our best but as it's been said, the fishing doesn't matter that much when the company is as good as it was. The laughs were plenty, the food was incredible (loved the venison stew Bernie and Joe that meatloaf was delicious.) and we all learned the power of such a small word. Hm. Great friends, great food, great times!!! A BIG thanks again Bernie, an awesome weekend yet again.

I'm looking forward to seeing the results of the shallow water results. I've over heard (sound travels well out on the lake) guys complain about me and my power auger. They got very quite when I iced my whitie a couple of jigs later...

Maybe the heater in the hut. I do keep the vents open as well as the top of the doors a bit. I was thinking it was dehydration the last time it happen. Yesterday I drank lots of water so who knows. Maybe just the front coming in, weather will bring on my migraines. I'm sure that your jerky will be very similar to mine. After all, it is you recipe.

I've always believed it didn't matter. Even in shallow water I've found if things get slow, pop a couple more holes and the fish seem to move back in. They maybe spooked initially when fishing shallow but by the time you get set up they are back to see what the noise is all about. Great video Terry.

I slept in today as well Joey and been fighting a headache all day trying to keep it from becoming a migraine. I think I've got it almost beat. Got some beef broth going for some beef barley soup and some beef brisket marinading for some jerky for the boys next weekend. I think the smells are helping my head.

I'll practice with you anytime you want Brian. Too bad you couldn't make it yesterday but nice to see you were out today.

Thanks for posting up the report Joey. It was nice to hang out for the day and catch up, great to see everyone. Slow bite but marked lots of fish tight to bottom. Thanks to the tip on the lakers. I wasn't marking them like you were. Lots of fun watching the bait on the screen and fishing coming in for the attack. Hopefully we'll do it again before the season is over. I also like to thank our good luck charm Paul. It wasn't 10 seconds after he told me I was up next when the fish was on. I believe that Paul doesn't need to catch any fish as he gets so much enjoyment out of watching others do it for him, heck of a great guy. Good times, a few fish caught, great company. Pretty much a perfect day on the ice.

I've seen a couple of small ones about 10-12 feet high, they did last too long. Cool video Chris.

Double ditto. Great drive into work today. Even had time to watch the plow operator clear out my parking spot and finish my coffee.
