  1. I'll have to grab a copy Bernie. Congrats! Can I get an autograph??
  2. Nicely done Paul.
  3. That's just awesome Ryan. "If you build it, they will come" Did you ever imagine the Fish-A-Thon growing like it has? Still trying to work out my vacation/work stuff, not sure I'm getting any time off this summer. Still hoping to fish it but will send a contribution regardless as always. Good luck tomorrow!!
  4. Just was getting through the comments and was so happy that no one gave away the secret weapon of choice by many here and you had to go and do it!! Nice, I'll never get another smallie with the secret out....again. I've done very well with a particular soft plastic the last few years that no one has mentioned. Nice to know that there are still a few secrets out there.
  5. Thanks for taking the time to put that together. Just awesome!
  6. Fantastic day on the water!! Congrats on the PB Joey!! What a brute!
  7. Awesome day on the water. A sweet new ride as well.
  8. Always a good time with Lloyd. Some beauty fish there Jeff.
  9. Not always about the fishing, a good time with a good friend = a good day anytime.
  10. Hang them up and let them dry before putting them back into the tackle box. Or once you are home, remove from tackle box and hang them up. They catch just about everything.
  11. OK, maybe I'm not ready to take on this job. Too bad about the rain, didn't rain here at all today. Good luck with the rest of the job.
  12. For those who use it, the old jug (green in colour) was 4 litres and is on sale for $22.99 at Canadian Tire. There is now a new jug (white) that has a graticule on the side for measuring (old one did not have it) and it is a 5 litre jug. It is also on sale this week for the same price as the old 4 litre jug. Not bad getting an extra litre for free!!
  13. If I wasn't back in hospital tour mode again I'd join ya Geoff. Might be able to show you a thing or 2 about that lake. Another time.
  14. If you are looking for someone in the northern GTA area then Discount Marine would be a good place to go.
  15. Sweet!! Looks like someone is having a great spring. Thanks for posting.
  16. x2 Find a boat design & layout that you are happy with and get it. If you are looking to flip it in a few years then resale value might be important to you as well. Good Luck.
  17. Never had to pull a broken spark plug before but almost think I could now. Yep best fishing forum on the net. Lots of knowledge here. And some not so useful help but funny as all hell. Good one Randy Most likely is Brian but perhaps a longer soak was decided upon. That way he could sneak in a couple of hours of fishing first. I hope that is what happened.
  18. Good luck Simon!! You can do this!
  19. What Lew said plus I'll have some kind of big soft plastic on hand.
  20. I too have experienced the levitating line trick. 5-6 feet in the air and just floating around, one of my best fishing days ever! Lucky to have lived to tell about it and glad you both could do the same. Looks like a great weekend and even caught a few fish, awesome.
  21. Guess I know what I'll use my Bass Pro gift card for now. Great information and nicely shot.
  22. Great news about the tumor Wayne. I can't even imagine what you all have been through as a family. Your post certainly shows the strength and commitment that you all have to beat the hell out of this thing. I salute you all!!
  23. I guess it was worth the wait... What an incredible trip. Just friggin' AWESOME!!
  24. Quite the report. Glad all ended well and that the fishing was just awesome!! Thanks for taking the time to put that together.
