  1. Sounds familiar. I had the same thing happen up in the narrows. Nice and open in the morning running across the bay up into Couch. Came back and the bay was full of ice. Only took an hour to bust through the ice to get back to the launch. Normally about 5 minutes.
  2. Update - the ice went out last night!

Great report Raf. Nice recap of your hardwater season.
  4. Just checked with a co-worker and Wilcox is still frozen. I hope this helps.
  5. Way to go on the PB Carole!! Nice to see you two having your normal success with the evening fishing.
  6. A belated happy birthday Sydney Some beauties there Cliff and Carole! Congrats!
  7. Happy Birthday Monique & Kemper! Hope you both are having a great one!
  8. Nothing. Closed until the last Saturday in April.
  9. Great news Rick. Thanks again to the Mod's who keep this place going. And to each of the members for all their posts. (Well maybe not all of the posts. )
  10. I think it's a Ford with Dodge emblems. Kinda like a tiger muskie. Congrats on the new ride.
  11. Very generous offer Carole.
  12. I've got a hand riveter and drill Mike and would be glad to lend a hand if you need it.
  13. Thanks for the input gentlemen. These batteries I'm looking at are deep cycles as well as a cranking one for the main motor. I'm pretty sure my buddy said AC Delco, after checking the internet I'm guessing that they are the Voyager line. There was a price difference between the 2 types with the cranking battery being slightly cheaper.
  14. Great week of fishing I'd say. Congrats on the PB's
  15. Good that your grandmother is doing well, @ 100 years old !! Congrats to her! I love the pic of the refection of the rod and the chucks of ice. Too bad about the fishing but just being outdoors is sometimes good enough.
  16. Put my frozen bags out in the green bin for pick up this morning. Like the Timmies drive thru idea though.
  17. That's more in line with what I was thinking Terry. Not that I have 200G's sitting around to go out and get one.
  18. That's just GREAT!! Good on you for getting Mum out and making some memories.
  19. I think it will be more then $200 but this it what was copied and pasted. Massachusetts company creates flying car 680News staff Massachusetts | Friday, March 20th, 2009 2:27 pm Massachusetts - It sounds like something out of the Jetsons. A Massachusetts company has created a flying car, and Thursday's test flight went well. It's called the "transition" and it can reach speeds of 185 kilometres an hour. It takes just 30 seconds after touchdown for the "transition" to fold its wings up and transform into a front-wheel drive two-seater car. The transition will cost about $200 and will hit the roads and the skies in 2011. The one downside to this flying car is that by law, it can only take off and land at an airport. 20. I have a connection that can get me a set of these for the boat at a reasonable price. I believe they are 27 series. Will be getting 2 for the trolling motor and a cranking battery for the main motor. Anyone using these batteries? What's the good, the bad and the ugly on these? I've yet to find a big difference between any batteries I've had in the past. I figure most of them are made by the same company with a different label attached, at least it seems that way. Thanks for the input.
  21. Survey complete. I also sent it on to a couple of my buddies who are not on the board. (Can you imagine that! ) and have filled out the survey as well. Thanks for your efforts Ron and the rest of the MNR gang.
  22. Nice report Kemper, a good outting for sure.
