Just got back from our week at West Arm. The accommodation was good, the weather was hot and the fishing was very slow. We caught several pike, a bass, a sheep head and no walleye. We released all and had brought enough food with us on the trip to still eat well. My buddy had a muskie on but it broke his leader, he was using the wrong type of leader.

Finished today, did a 1/2 fill to hopefully get any extra shaving and then drained again. Refilled full and now ready to go! A couple Lake Ontario runs and then Nipissing in 3 weeks! Need boat in top shape if Cache Bay is fishable.

Finally splurged on something better than my Fuji CrappyCam. Read good reviews on the Canon EOS M50 MkII, so I picked one up. Then got a Sigma 18-300mm to go along with it, it's made for a full-frame Canon but and adapter makes it fit. Going at this slowly and gently to reduce the amount of swearing, so haven't taken a lot of pictures yet. 10 days camping in Algonquin afforded some measure of practise, and I'm pleased with the set-up, any screwups are probably mine alone.

Went to st Clair. Didn’t brake anything this time. Very calm, sunny and flat water. Great boating. Got a hit and netted the fish and the hooks came out. Very light bites. Great trip but came home early because of the poor fishing. I’m ready to go again.

I stopped in this morning Cliff . Bought 2 nice slabs. Was even able to cut one in half it was so nice and chunky. Will be smoked next weekend. Double packed to ensure the seals do not break. Brown sugar and salt cure.

Will be in that cottage for a week starting Saturday 4th. Hope you left it tidy..😁

Good to hear you enjoyed Mashkinonje and got into a few fish as well. We're heading back up next Saturday for another week.

Keep fishing and take home a limit , think he has to actually physically impede you from fishing to be charged, mouthing off doesn't count.

Th next time you catch one and he opens his yap stick in in his mouth to shut him up

As far as I know, it’s illegal to harass anyone who is legally engaged in the sport of hunting or fishing. Like the others said, report them. Section 13 of the provincial Fish and Wildlife Conservation Act clearly states that it is illegal to obstruct or interfere with lawful fishing, hunting and trapping Obstruction of hunting, trapping or fishing 13 (1) A person shall not interfere with lawful hunting, trapping or fishing by, (a) tampering with traps, nets, bait, firearms or any other thing used for hunting, trapping or fishing; (b) placing himself or herself in a position, for the purpose of interfering, that hinders or prevents hunting, trapping or fishing; or (c) engaging in an activity, for the purpose of interfering, that disturbs or is likely to disturb wildlife or fish. I eat bass, my son eats bass my kids, grandkids and great grandkids all eat bass and if we want to keep our limit we will! If you want to take your limit it is your right to do so. Like misfish said get his plate # and report him. Enjoy your bass dinner.

Sounds like 2 against 1. I would have got right into his grill.

Did you strip the bolt or the drain hole? If it's the hole, helicoil it and get the correct bolt to fit.
