  1. I'm a lucky man, I frequently get to build one of a kind custom rods for some of the finest hand crafted custom reels made, and all of those reels are made right here in Ontario.

  2. What you mean you don't make any rods to match those beautiful and stylish handcrafted in America Coleville precision reels LOL. That handle needs more checkerboard burl!! Seriously though, nice work!

  5. The last few years, I have not had a chance to fish Lake Erie very often so this fall I decided to change that up. Made a total of 5 trips down to one of a truly world class Smallmouth bass fishery! The last one was just before the blow and we managed to win a small local tournament with 5 Smallies for a total of 28.98 lbs. We had some good days out there but never really caught the peak of the fall action, there is still a few days left in the season maybe we'll be able to get out one more time. Here are some beautiful Erie bronze to help us make it through a long winter!

  6. Small wood stove would be my first choice. Get away from gas all together. Off grid at its finest! S.

  9. Mark I got an email today from Sail abour a sale that might be good. Then again, they have limited stock... Otherwise, it might be an online sort of hunt the next for days for some hidden jem deals. Not sure. I am well stocked on the moment for fishing items/gear so I have been looking more for motorcycle items.

  12. i brought this up here To me it was clear that B1 didnt take every measure necessary to ensure the mortality rates at its tournament remained low. Especially at a tournament on the st lawrence where the smallies are being caught deep and its hot out. Even worse to hear that they threw the fish in bags into the trash. I know some locals were absolutely livid about what happened here. As much as people like to say that it wouldnt have an impact on a fishery, but killing 100's of the absolute biggest bass in a stretch of water over the course of a weekend does horrific things to a fishery. All it takes is for you to read 1 thread on any bass forum to realize that even treatment of fish in a livewell is totally subjective. Some guys throw their livewell on recirculate all day and hope for the best. Truthfully it somewhat blows my mind because mortality penalties in tournaments are so severe, but the twisted logic some guys have about fish care is terrible at best. At the end of the day its no different than fishing musky on light tackle, or snagging salmon and trout in rivers. Same crowds same result.

  13. Yammy hands down no question. Have you ever met an unhappy yamaha owner? I haven't. All my stuff is yammy, and I have never been let down, never had a single issue with any of it. Sleds, bikes, and outboards......even guitars, speakers, PA systems....lol S.

  14. When Erie peaks, we are talking upwards of 100 fish days per person! LOL Next year you should come down for a fish!

  15. It's been a tough year OI. Between the COVID thing and losing my dad my pup also died this summer. This crappy year can end anytime now. I've had about as much as I can handle.
