Leafs hockey

I just watched the leafs play the panthers.  First time I could watch a game and be entertained in a long time.    Very few give aways.  Good position to cover the panthers.   Leaf goalie wasn’t shell shocked by the end of the game.

I watched it also and it was a good win. I have hope this year.

Those Tampa boys are huge. Maybe next year the leafs will learn that shooting is more productive then trying to make the pretty set up goals. Thats all tamps did. Shot and shot. Pretty much old school I would say.

Tampa isn't the 2 time defending champs for no reason.  They did an amazing job at not letting pucks through to the net.  All it takes is one fluke goal to win you a series (Case in point).   Some interesting calls by the refs but you can't leave it in their hands.   Boys played until the end, back at it in Oct!   The team from last year would have folded in this series, I'd like to see a little more beef on the D line, but that's about it.  No big changes.

It will be interesting to see how far tampa goes. It will be telling of how well the leafs actually played. 
 

of note, tampa does not make major mistakes. There’s no kerfoot no look drop passes in their repertoire.

So Mitchy got car jacked at Islington and Queensway  (Sherway Mall) last night by 3 guys.

2 with guns and one with a knife. At 7:30PM.

I can't believe how bad the GTA has become since I left.
