Nov grouse hunt

Headed north with my brother for some birds. The weather was less than ideal but wasn't terrible either.

Crap, I usually bring some home for the kids but didn't this time. Next time I'll set some aside for you.

Nice. I haven't hunted grouse in many years. When my Slovenian grandmother still lived up in Kirkland Lake she would make a fantastic grouse stew from the birds we got. She would clean them faster than I could ever do it too. I miss her. And the stew. And the rush you get from the first bird of the fall.

I love the ones with the red colouring.. I usually get one or two of them each year..
