captpierre Posted February 2, 2017 Report Posted February 2, 2017 Feb 17-20. Including Family Day on Monday I'm looking forward to it.
John Bacon Posted February 3, 2017 Report Posted February 3, 2017 Which one is it? This one: https://springfishingandboatshow.com/
Tjames09 Posted February 3, 2017 Report Posted February 3, 2017 Wasnt very good last year, think I was in and out in about an hour. Doesnt really compare to the sportsman show in March.
Old Ironmaker Posted February 3, 2017 Report Posted February 3, 2017 (edited) Oh great, another place to spend money on stuff I don't need. I can't wait! I haven't been in a few years but always enjoyed it. Far better then the Sportsman Show. See you there, wear your OFC I.D. lanyard tag. Actually that's not a bad idea, where can I get one? Funny I posted this while TJames posted his. The complete opposite revue of the shows. I don't luxury camp or want to build a new McMansion, that's what I saw at the Sportsman Show the last time I went, a long time ago I admit. Edited February 3, 2017 by Old Ironmaker

The complete opposite revue of the shows. I don't luxury camp or want to build a new McMansion, that's what I saw at the Sportsman Show the last time I went, a long time ago I admit. Even though they are both in the same building, the Sportsman Show occupies several times as much floor space. There is way more to see at the Sportsman Show. Even if they have some non-fishing exhibits at the show, they still have plenty of room left over to have more fishing related exhibits than the Spring Fishing Show. A lot of people used to mention the difficulty of getting downtown and parking as a reason to attend the Spring Fishing Show instead of the Sportsman Show. Now that the Sportsman Show is in the same location and also has free parking, there are fewer reasons to attend the Spring Fishing Show.
mistaredone Posted February 3, 2017 Report Posted February 3, 2017 I'll be there, now I know the sportsman show is in the same venue I'll go to that too. Anyone have a link to admission coupons? Is BPS tax free during these events?
PUMP KNOWS Posted February 7, 2017 Report Posted February 7, 2017 I wish they offered more deals at these events.
porkpie Posted February 7, 2017 Report Posted February 7, 2017 I wish they offered more deals at these events. You have to go to the tackle swaps to get any deals these days. The shows are just retail price under one roof, with the odd exception.
Loonietoon Posted February 9, 2017 Report Posted February 9, 2017 Will be there Friday ... they have not posted times or dates on speakers as of yet ????? would like to know who I am going to listen too ??
sofabed Posted February 10, 2017 Report Posted February 10, 2017 The schedule was posted last weekend.
