I wonder if that would fall under the reg of not using artificial light to attract fish?

Be neat to try in the fish hut this winter; might be able to start a perch feeding frenzy. LOL

I could be wrong but I think if you aren't fishing when you use the laser, then you put away the laser and start fishing, you might be okay.

Very interesting, and while we're on the subject of legalities (and to totally be a buzz-kill) I wonder if it could also fall under some sort or "harassing wildlife" law?

If catch and release angling is not harassing wildlife I seriously doubt this would be.
