Joey Posted March 20, 2014 Report Posted March 20, 2014 (edited) I usually drive by a field on my way home from work every once in awhile to see if the deer are out. A few times they have been but the conditions were terrible for pics and they were too far away. Then I did not see them for quite some time, and today, I found out why Now conditions were the pits today and it was drizzling rain, and they were pretty far away, but I did the best I could. Ron Posted March 20, 2014 Report Posted March 20, 2014 Awesome shots Joey. Not all that often you get to see photos of coyotes. Cheers, Ron...
Joey Posted March 20, 2014 Author Report Posted March 20, 2014 Thanks Ron. I'm going to go back on a sunny day and see if they're still hanging round so I can maybe get some crisper shots.
aplumma Posted March 20, 2014 Report Posted March 20, 2014 just sprinkle a handful of mice out there and they will be back.lol Very nice shots Joey. Art
BillM Posted March 20, 2014 Report Posted March 20, 2014 Get some pinkies from a reptile store and toss a bunch into that field. You'll have all the coyotes you want!
tb4me Posted March 20, 2014 Report Posted March 20, 2014 Nice shots..They sure are beautiful animals..I often wonder if you got a young pup and raised it yourself if they would make good pets...
Whitespinnerbait Posted March 20, 2014 Report Posted March 20, 2014 Wow !! Awesome photography right there........
Joey Posted March 20, 2014 Author Report Posted March 20, 2014 Thanks Guys! Appreciate the kind words. tb4me, I think that like any other wild animal, it would probably make a cool pet for a short period of time, and then would cause problems, and in the back of your mind, you'd always wonder if it would "go wild" on you.
Rodbender Posted March 21, 2014 Report Posted March 21, 2014 (edited) Nice shots there think you got the Alpha male and female keep your fish guts for just such an opportunity throw them in the field first thing in the morning then come back a couple hours later oh a little call from your cell phone either mouse or dying rabbit doesn't hurt Edited March 21, 2014 by Rodbender
Joey Posted March 21, 2014 Author Report Posted March 21, 2014 Nice shots there think you got the Alpha male and female keep your fish guts for just such an opportunity throw them in the field first thing in the morning then come back a couple hours later oh a little call from your cell phone either mouse or dying rabbit doesn't hurt I kind of figured they were the Alpha as there was another one there that stayed pretty far away from them and seemed very skittish. The Alpha's were taking turns eating a rabbit carcass, or some other small furry animal, and the female would squat and pee on it. This third one didn't go anywhere near the food. Looks pretty mangy too. I was thinking about the fish guts too, I may try that, if I catch a darn fish this hard water season
misfish Posted March 22, 2014 Report Posted March 22, 2014 Those are soooo cool J. if I catch a darn fish this hard water season Dont be a dick, fish
Joey Posted March 22, 2014 Author Report Posted March 22, 2014 Going tomorrow B. Hopefully a report to follow!
Twocoda Posted March 25, 2014 Report Posted March 25, 2014 Awesome shots ...these are harder to capture than deer...i once sat up a tree above a dead moose trying to get them but they are ever elusive and smart...i ended up walking out in the dark with no shots...you got lucky Joey! Nice shooting
