Some Coyotes

Joey

Recommended Posts

I usually drive by a field on my way home from work every once in awhile to see if the deer are out. A few times they have been but the conditions were terrible for pics and they were too far away. Then I did not see them for quite some time, and today, I found out why :o

Now conditions were the pits today and it was drizzling rain, and they were pretty far away, but I did the best I could.

Thanks Guys! Appreciate the kind words.

tb4me, I think that like any other wild animal, it would probably make a cool pet for a short period of time, and then would cause problems, and in the back of your mind, you'd always wonder if it would "go wild" on you.

Nice shots there think you got the Alpha male and female keep your fish guts for just such an opportunity throw them in the field first thing in the morning then come back a couple hours later :whistling: oh a little call from your cell phone either mouse or dying rabbit doesn't hurt :whistling:

I kind of figured they were the Alpha as there was another one there that stayed pretty far away from them and seemed very skittish. The Alpha's were taking turns eating a rabbit carcass, or some other small furry animal, and the female would squat and pee on it. This third one didn't go anywhere near the food. Looks pretty mangy too.

I was thinking about the fish guts too, I may try that, if I catch a darn fish this hard water season

Awesome shots ...these are harder to capture than deer...i once sat up a tree above a dead moose trying to get them but they are ever elusive and smart...i ended up walking out in the dark with no shots...you got lucky Joey! Nice shooting
