craigdritchie
According to Environment Canada, this winter has brought the most expansive Great Lakes ice coverage in two decades. It should drastically reduce overwinter evaporation and preserve water levels for spring. Add in all the snow melt and I can see the potential for a lot of flooding in some areas. Gregoire
Was driving on the Gardiner today and noticed that the channel between the city and the islands was pretty much frozen across. That is the first time I have seen that much ice.
