jedimaster Posted April 21, 2014 Report Posted April 21, 2014 ROFL.... best quote out of context ever... he spends so much time on his knees I feel like I am at a hotel room.
glen Posted April 21, 2014 Report Posted April 21, 2014 Lol. But right now is not the time for him to change his style.
BassMan11 Posted April 21, 2014 Report Posted April 21, 2014 (edited) Well I don't really feel anything for either team but the reffing sure looks tipped to one side to me. Good pace to the game though. It is. Always is in Montreal. Although I can't really blame them. It is a mad house in there. Edited April 21, 2014 by BassMan11
manitoubass2 Posted April 21, 2014 Report Posted April 21, 2014 Early on quick looks real good. Kings playing great!
lookinforwalleye Posted April 21, 2014 Report Posted April 21, 2014 I wonder if the Tampa coach will have any snappy quotes about the Habs being up 3-0
DRIFTER_016 Posted April 21, 2014 Report Posted April 21, 2014 Early on quick looks real good. Kings playing great! ANNNNNNNNNNNNNND, It's Gone!!!!! Only let in 7 goals in 1 1/2 periods. If you add in game one its 12 goals in 3 1/2 periods.
BillM Posted April 21, 2014 Report Posted April 21, 2014 I still can't believe they called that Tampa goal back.. Why in the world is there a rookie NHL ref doing a playoff game?

jbailey Posted April 21, 2014 Report Posted April 21, 2014 I still can't believe they called that Tampa goal back.. Why in the world is there a rookie NHL ref doing a playoff game? did you hear the explanation of rule? it makes a lot more sense of how it played out. I still think it should have counted but hey
BillM Posted April 21, 2014 Report Posted April 21, 2014 did you hear the explanation of rule? it makes a lot more sense of how it played out. I still think it should have counted but hey Yeah, still don't agree with it... Price initiates contact, they score, it gets called back, lol.
bushart Posted April 21, 2014 Report Posted April 21, 2014 Yup and Stamkos was onside And the knee to the head of Stamkos looked very much like this season when Neal kneed Marchand in the head and it cost him several games---no call I guess nobody said it had to be fair----just marketable
BillM Posted April 21, 2014 Report Posted April 21, 2014 I don't think the knee was intentional at all.. Stamkos was absolutely onside. This is what happens when the calls don't go your way!
bushart Posted April 21, 2014 Report Posted April 21, 2014 Like I mentioned---not a Tampa fan by any stretch---be nice to see a level field though Like the game after the Sens/Habs fiasco---one ref from that nite reffed the very next night in Ottawa He must have had the guilts cuz Ottawa was getting Power plays for next to nothing---2 minutes for passing gas??

And forget this level playing field Bull...Montreal has been the better team without question!!!
bushart Posted April 21, 2014 Report Posted April 21, 2014 yup he was sliding cuz Prust knocked him down------again no call Yes Montreal has played better in this series--no question ref'n last nite in Montreal was one sided---not sure what game you were watchin??
davey buoy Posted April 21, 2014 Report Posted April 21, 2014 Bill not supporting MTL? Only Canadian team?lol.Tampa Bay better get their act together reffing or not.Goals in the net count. Can't argue Mtl can go a long way,and I'm right behind them lol.Loving all the games so far!!!
kickingfrog Posted April 21, 2014 Report Posted April 21, 2014 It's lazy logic to suggest that Canadians have to support the team in Montreal to be patriotic. The Tampa coach is a funny guy who does keep things in perspective and had lots to say about the game despite being limited in what he can say without being fined by the league. I think at the start of the play-offs CBC did a little get-to-know the coach thing on Copper. The best part was him breaking down game tape of the outdoor oldtimers game in Detroit where Steve Thomas (a Tampa assistant coach) was not back checking at all.

No lazy Rob,Canadian team to go far would drive Bettman nuts.I'm liking it so far.lol.

I'd like to see Montreal win, but I'm not going to ignore the crappy calls that were made during that game.
bushart Posted April 21, 2014 Report Posted April 21, 2014 Fleurie loses this series and he'll be fishin with us next year
BillM Posted April 21, 2014 Report Posted April 21, 2014 Fleurie loses this series and he'll be fishin with us next year Can't blame him for either of those 2 tonight... D man standing around watching the game instead of playing.
DRIFTER_016 Posted April 21, 2014 Report Posted April 21, 2014 D man standing around watching the game instead of playing. Yep!!! They've been watching Leafs tape!!!
