hammercarp Posted May 13, 2013 Report Posted May 13, 2013 I think this otter may have bitten off more than it can chew.
Big Cliff Posted May 13, 2013 Report Posted May 13, 2013 Well, as long as he doesn't open his mouth to brag about it, he'll be fine LOL.
Angler management Posted May 13, 2013 Report Posted May 13, 2013 That had to have been a dead or dying pike...??
davey buoy Posted May 13, 2013 Report Posted May 13, 2013 If not dead,he may of well found out soon enough! .lol.
Twocoda Posted May 15, 2013 Report Posted May 15, 2013 awesome shot!...Come on baby....just a lil peck on the cheek
Fisherman Posted May 15, 2013 Report Posted May 15, 2013 If he keeps the pikes jaws shut long enough, the pike can't "breath" and will die of oxygen starvation.
Moosebunk Posted May 15, 2013 Report Posted May 15, 2013 Who doesn't eat a giant pike the size of yourself every morning for breakfast???
SmackUm Posted May 15, 2013 Report Posted May 15, 2013 Cool shot HC... I once had a mink holding on to a striger of bass It made quite the hissing sound... lol
Roy Posted May 16, 2013 Report Posted May 16, 2013 Don't kid yourselves. That pike can do nothing against that weasel. We tend to think of otters as cute and playful and yes, they seem to be as we see them sliding down snow trails. The otter can easily break that pike's back with his teeth. The otter can also stay underwater for long periods of time and swim as well if not better than the pike. My money's on the otter.
