Rich Nelson Posted December 3, 2012 Report Posted December 3, 2012 Soooo, this was on MSN's homepage this morning......thought it may interest some Nice special effect ls in that vid. So here is their explanation... "At the right place, and the right time...Millions of volts of electricity trigger a chain of improbable coincidences. The chemical atoms join up, creating a bundle of genetic material. But these dont stand a chance in this extreme environment. But luck strikes again. A blob of oily material engulfs a single (chain?) to create the first ever cell.... Ha ha. Im not sure which is more ridiculous... This theory, or the big bang. And im impressed that they could travel back in time to see all the lightning, water, and the "oily blob" Where exactly did these originate then? Like I said before... No living thing can originate from a non living thing unless there is a higher power involved. ( every scientist has to agree with this, based on their research and scientific laws) Entertaining, but that was a pretty poor stab at how the universe originated... First Living Thing
kemper Posted December 3, 2012 Report Posted December 3, 2012 It's an Atlantic salmon. Also, pickerel not walleye.

shane Posted December 3, 2012 Report Posted December 3, 2012 It's really easy to explain if you believe that aliens visited this planet before there was any kind of life forms here. Then they dumped their toilet holding tanks on their way out.
Roy Posted December 3, 2012 Report Posted December 3, 2012 BTW---I believe there's a unifying force in the universe whose law we must obey. It's called gravity!! It's a good thing too, cause if it wasn't for gravity, I wouldn't be able to see the sun for all the dead birds up there.
Harrison Posted December 3, 2012 Report Posted December 3, 2012 (edited) I think even atheists believe in god on Friday or Saturday nights! And in Casinos.. ...just this one last time God I swear... I wish Geroge Carlin could come back for ten minutes. He'd set us straight. Edited December 3, 2012 by Harrison
Rich Nelson Posted December 3, 2012 Report Posted December 3, 2012 "and in casinos" And in life or death situations. There are many documented cases of non religoius, and even sworn atheists, praying to "god" when they fear they are going to die. Now why would they do that?
Roy Posted December 3, 2012 Report Posted December 3, 2012 "You swear there ain't no heaven and you pray there ain't no hell." Laura Nyro.

Now why would they do that? because it's just a figure of speech ? kinda like saying holy 'you know what'.
mercman Posted December 3, 2012 Report Posted December 3, 2012 now fishing related...lol YOU'RE KILLING ME LOL !!!!!!!!!
Spiel Posted December 3, 2012 Report Posted December 3, 2012 I believe we're done with this one. Keep your moral compass straight and true, keep an open mind, exercise tolerance and understanding for those who's opinions may vary from your own. You may even find friends you never knew existed or perhaps even "bigfoot."
