manitoubass2 Posted October 4, 2012 Report Posted October 4, 2012 (edited) Started about half hour ago. It was snowing much harder before I took the pics. Last year we didn't have a good snowfall until the middle of November, the 14th if I remember correctly. I've heard reports from 8cm over the weekend to well over 20cm. We'll see I spose. Walleye time!!!!! and what I just had to fill my belly before I head out fishing. Walleye breaded with croutons then baked with onion. MMMMMMm Edited October 4, 2012 by manitoubass2

Spiel Posted October 4, 2012 Report Posted October 4, 2012 Now that's just not right given I'm having spaghetti, again! As for the snow, beautiful but I can wait another few months.
Christopheraaron Posted October 4, 2012 Report Posted October 4, 2012 (edited) Brrr, looks like the seasons are forgetting their order again... As for that meal, we know you're eating well, you don't have to go around boasting about it! Edit: I just realized, your hiding chips under those peas and carrots! manitoubass2 Posted October 4, 2012 Author Report Posted October 4, 2012 Thanks guys, the meal was very good and super easy to make, 30 mins from start to finish. Now, for the weather, also calling for 30-60mm of rain between now and Saturday morning! Holy!!!! Gonna be a fun weekend for me and the kiddos!
misfish Posted October 4, 2012 Report Posted October 4, 2012 I love the first snow. Gets the finger itchy. Thanks for posting.

steelhedrmatt Posted October 4, 2012 Report Posted October 4, 2012 Bring on the snow. I better tune up the sled. Tuned mine up last week. The smell of the two stroke exhaust gave me goosebumps. Snow.....the other white drug.
Roy Posted October 4, 2012 Report Posted October 4, 2012 I can do without that stuff for another while too. Edit: I just realized, your hiding chips under those peas and carrots! That'd be baby corn. The chips are out of camera range.
Joeytier Posted October 5, 2012 Report Posted October 5, 2012 Edit: I just realized, your hiding chips under those peas and carrots! You must not be eating your vegetables! Baby corns are delicious. Possibility of snow in the bay by sunday or monday last I saw.
manitoubass2 Posted October 5, 2012 Author Report Posted October 5, 2012 lol, yeppers, thats baby corn. Only problem was I didn't make enough of it! Well it's still snowing. Had the river all to myself today, not one boat in site. Fished for a few hours and had fun. Steady action but no big girls today. She was pretty cold out on the water with 65km/h windgusts and snow/sleet blowing up in my face!!!! I love fishing that dirty nasty weather . Afterwards I took the kids to the gym, played some basketball and volleyball with the local kids, then had a workout. Came home and made a nice big ol bowl of some leftover homemade chilli and a beer. Perfect day, time for bed
