Luke V. Posted June 18, 2012 Report Posted June 18, 2012 So with Bass opening on the 23rd, where is everyone going to be? I will be on the Upper Niagara River insearch of the 7-8 lb smallie that has been evading me for the past year or two. Tight Lines Luke
Acountdeleted Posted June 18, 2012 Report Posted June 18, 2012 (edited) 4 days at Fushimi and Longlac up in Northeastern Ontario for Pike and Walleye. The bass can wait one more week. I've been planning this trip for 3 years now. That being said, soon as I get back I've got a date with Mountsberg resevior.... or Heart Lake...... or Toronto islands. Edited June 18, 2012 by jeremy84
jigsnreels Posted June 18, 2012 Report Posted June 18, 2012 Somewhere within London city limits. Most likely under a bridge.
jedimaster Posted June 18, 2012 Report Posted June 18, 2012 I have a tourney on the sunday, might go to balsam on Saturday if the rain holds out, supposed to be a bit of rain and a cold front. Might make for tough fishing this opener.
SRT8 smoker craft Posted June 18, 2012 Report Posted June 18, 2012 3 days in a row on Longpoint Bay doing the opener derby then fishing the Edu-cast event on sunday taking a highschool kid out for smallies and monday I will be taking out a couple that their father bought for them from a charity auction for the St thomas all breed dog rescue hopefully a day or 2 next weekend to I can't wait I need some fish therapy !!!!
linweir Posted June 18, 2012 Report Posted June 18, 2012 Simcoe for sure. Wanna see how fat these smallies are.
backbay Posted June 18, 2012 Report Posted June 18, 2012 Back up to the Moon. Got my spots picked out!
asdve23rveavwa Posted June 18, 2012 Report Posted June 18, 2012 Might hit our local "mudhole" looking for a rematch with a certain largemouth, that jumped three times and made my jaw drop.
DanD Posted June 18, 2012 Report Posted June 18, 2012 We’ll be out in the pack, drifting between Bait Island and EC10 of Long Point Bay. First time in close to 20 years that I haven’t had my own boat; so I’ll be hitching a ride in my eldest brother’s. So if anyone sees a white (trimmed in black) 28 foot Chaparral with the name Just Once “Again” that’ll be us. His radio is usually scanning between channels 68 and 69; so give out a yell and say hello. Dan.

Sounds like a great few days. Im sure you will not be disapointed!
Gregoire Posted June 18, 2012 Report Posted June 18, 2012 Heading to Chemong that weekend, but I may not fish it if I got a chance to hunt musky.
Beans Posted June 18, 2012 Report Posted June 18, 2012 For all the trouble it would take, I may as well give Pigeon Lake a shot...
krixxer Posted June 18, 2012 Report Posted June 18, 2012 looking a longpoint, might make it into a overnight trip. looks like I'll be solo.... open spot if anyone is interested in hooking up.

That's always a pleasure about bass fishing. You see it and then its gone, going back to get even is what its all about!
johnnyb Posted June 18, 2012 Report Posted June 18, 2012 Depends on a combination of wifey's work schedule and babysitter availability. Somewhere like 3 Mile in Muskoka or Gull in Minden, with possible back-up plans on Rice or Orangeville Reservoir. Well...Orangeville is more like an emergency measure than a backup plan....but I'll take what I can get

I will be out there early morning but once it get's busy I'm heading for bluffs looking for some big girls
Ainsley Posted June 18, 2012 Report Posted June 18, 2012 Hopefully I'll be in the upper Niagara river. Had a big smallie hit my DC10 when I was casting for Muskie last weekend.
Jer Posted June 18, 2012 Report Posted June 18, 2012 Most every other year it would be right here on Buckhorn. This year a smaller North Kawartha lake for a change.
frodobuggins Posted June 18, 2012 Report Posted June 18, 2012 Somewhere within London city limits. Most likely under a bridge. I went to UWO and used to catch smallies between the bridge at oxford and the first one south of that...then i would drink heavily and have a 10 lb panzo from the alibi
Ralph Field Posted June 18, 2012 Report Posted June 18, 2012 I think that I will hold off til the fall.
