Twocoda Posted June 8, 2011 Report Posted June 8, 2011 Again we are with out power as mother nature unleases her fury on us....spectacular lightening show to say the least.....HEADS UP INLANDERS.....its a doozy
irishfield Posted June 8, 2011 Report Posted June 8, 2011 I'd just looked at the radar 10 minutes ago... rain is so intense it goes beyond their colour scale that ends at Red... it's purple inplaces and headed this way. Not what I need to see... I have 8 acres of neglected grass to get cut by noon tomorrow.
Joey Posted June 8, 2011 Report Posted June 8, 2011 Looks like its headed my way too, gonna be a loud night, just like it was a loud morning!!!
kuhaman Posted June 8, 2011 Report Posted June 8, 2011 Im in Kincardine right now, it blew over us about an hour ago. Sounded like a freight train roarin thru and I think we just caught the edge of it.
strik Posted June 8, 2011 Report Posted June 8, 2011 Wow at least i can take the boat to the lake no need for a truck anymore
bigugli Posted June 8, 2011 Report Posted June 8, 2011 At this rate I'm not going to get anything planted this year
DRIFTER_016 Posted June 8, 2011 Report Posted June 8, 2011 Headdin' straight for my folks place. Hope they got the hatches battened down.
Gerritt Posted June 8, 2011 Report Posted June 8, 2011 We had one hell of a storm roll through here last night/early morning, so much lightning I thought a police crusier was out side.. add in some hail as well and it was a noisy night

kuhaman Posted June 8, 2011 Report Posted June 8, 2011 Here we go again, talk about crazy freakin weather!
bigugli Posted June 8, 2011 Report Posted June 8, 2011 This year is starting to remind me of that year when Barrie got the tornado back in june of 85
Big Cliff Posted June 8, 2011 Report Posted June 8, 2011 Missed us, knocked our lawn furnature and things around but no serious damage. Bobcayegon apparently has quite a bit of damage and Hwy. 35 is closed North of Fenelon with trees and power lines down. If you know anyone in those areas and need me to check on them just let me know. I also have a portable 6500 watt generator that I would loan out if needed. 705-328-0577
GBW Posted June 8, 2011 Report Posted June 8, 2011 Hwy. 35 is closed North of Fenelon with trees and power lines down. I wonder if my folks lost power or not on 4 mile?
Jer Posted June 13, 2011 Report Posted June 13, 2011 We lost power on Wednesday, finally got powered up again on Saturday. When the hydro truck left, he accidentally cut the phone line, didn't get that back until yesterday. We been roughing it, good practice for lakair..
