ah_long Posted March 22, 2011 Report Posted March 22, 2011 If you have removable liners, another way to do it is to put the plastic bag over the liner and put it back into the boots
Guest ThisPlaceSucks Posted March 23, 2011 Report Posted March 23, 2011 wowsers! did you get those "boot liners" at MEC?
Terry Posted March 23, 2011 Report Posted March 23, 2011 or have water proof boots I'm just saying:whistling:

BassAsin Posted March 23, 2011 Report Posted March 23, 2011 (edited) Patented in 1965 Matt ! I got into the plastics industry in 1985.. Oh well my appologies. i thought it was later then that. like mid 70's what kind of plastics industry did you get into? Edited March 23, 2011 by BassAsin
irishfield Posted March 23, 2011 Report Posted March 23, 2011 Website sucks and at least 5 years out of date.. but not my doing. I've been "removed" from there for a good 7 years. I drop by once in awhile to check on them. You name it.. we've moulded it. Seat belt parts, car/truck door link arms, fishing line cutters, tracheotomy tubes, vertical and horizontal blind parts, etc. . http://www.georgianbayplastics.com/
Sinker Posted March 23, 2011 Report Posted March 23, 2011 If you fish, you should have some water proof boots. S.
ah_long Posted March 23, 2011 Author Report Posted March 23, 2011 mine are supposed to be waterproof... but only up until a certain height.. this is just for the late season when you accidentally submerged ur feet into a slush hole or whatever... worked for me.. lol
camillj Posted March 23, 2011 Report Posted March 23, 2011 Try a pair of these : http://www.canadiantire.ca/browse/product_detail.jsp?PRODUCT%3C%3Eprd_id=845524442291819&FOLDER%3C%3Efolder_id=1408474396672077&bmUID=1300859751410
johnnyb Posted March 23, 2011 Report Posted March 23, 2011 I got the lined rubber boots from CTC also....mine don't have the funky camo at the top, but were on sale for $35 a couple years back....awesome for slush and still rated for the really cold stuff
pomoxis Posted March 23, 2011 Report Posted March 23, 2011 That's why I wear my trusty good all 100% rubber Baffin boots. No worries until I step into the proverbial hidden pressure crack...
Headhunter Posted March 23, 2011 Report Posted March 23, 2011 Plastic bags will work fine when it's not too cold, but they will keep all sweat and moisture inside the liner... so after a day on the ice, but sure to remove the liner and let it dry over night. HH
