waterwolf
these are the photos from yesterday on the leslie spit while fishing solo from a canoe.i was very surprised i didn't rocket the camera from my hands like a wet bar of soap into the lake.a small camera in cold wet hands is a recipe for disaster[ while fighting a decent pike].anyway, excuses aside ,, this is my trophy lake o pike!! mahman
Awesome fish! Must have been amazing landing that thing in a canoe. I wish I could fish out of a canoe, but I know I would just tip! I'll practice my canoe fishing in the summer.
4thgen
Nice pike! The girth on that thing is unreal. Looks like that tail treble is down in the gills -- I know that sight well, that fish must have just inhaled it. I can't wait to get out and get some great lakes pike of my own. Last year the ice was gone about a month from now, this year we've had a warmer spring so I'm keeping my fingers crossed!
