So last week my wife and I took a quick spin out to Vancouver for some R&R...

 

Day one....

 

Stanley Park = Paradise right there . took a pic of a tree growing over a tree Stump .

Day two ...

 

Drove up to Squamish to see the salmon run , hopped in a raft and slowly drifted Squamish River , missed it by a month or two... :wallbash:

So if your wondering if theres salmon in the mountains of BC the answer is yes .. :thumbsup_anim:

The rain started to fall and the wind picked up , heres a Blue Heron having a Bad Hair Day .

Those are some awsome pictures!! It sure is a beautiful area up there, I spent a few months up in victoria last year and caught the tail end of the salmon run and it sure is an amazing site. Thanks for the pictures!

Wow, those are awesome pictures, thanks for sharing them. Those salmon teeth are huge. A couple of those head carcasses would be cool to have varnished and put in the den!

Those are some really nice pics. I had the opportunity to go there last year to visit my brother, what a great experience. Did you get a chance to hike up "The Chief" ? What a mountain!

... did they not have any Green Trout for you to molest? ;)

 

 

 

This weekend = the first Green trout hard water outing of 2010 , with 24/7 tagging along = should have plenty of GreenBack pics for ya.. B)B)

Not totally sure, but a few of those look like Golden Eagles.

 

 

I hear ya but those are Juvenile Bald Eagles ...they don't get their White head or White tail feathers until their three years old or so ... B)
